Painting for my grandma’s birthday last month. She loves to bird watch but her eyes aren’t the best anymore. So I wanted to make her this chart of backyard birds native and migratory to Iowa, by making their shapes and colors bolder simplified for easier readability.

Gengar family made with chalk markers. This image was really hard to blow up because I made this on like 5 inch long 2 inch wide matboard. lol

Dave the dachshund.  An old picture I made of my brother’s dog. Still really enjoy the style I did here. It was with an app on my phone and the pen sensitivity for it sucked so I went with a diffrent approach when making this, using large brushes and erasing them into the shapes I needed.

Watercolor tests for some paint sets I have, I wanted to do an interesting pattern for both and gotta say the process was pretty relaxing. Not even thinking about it just zoning out and painting some blobs. It’s the best~

Tiger girl character looking for a worthy challenger to fight.  An old doodle I revamped with some gold pens and digital elements.  Don’t have much in the way of a story for her yet, but she sure was fun to draw.
