Something I think about a lot is when dj khaled spent a day lost at sea on a jet ski literally just because he drove away and got lost and started live posting about it and as he got increasingly panicked he started making like inspirational insta stories about his opps wanting him to fail even though he was entirely responsible for the situation and just started saying shit like “they don’t want you to WIN. they don’t want you to get found when you’re lost at sea in the dark”

U guys are not gonna have me talking about hasan piker two days in a row but I will say this one last thing, the problem with a lot of these controversies is that if u even try to fact check them you will find results that are reddit pages for destiny and Ethan Klein or articles written by massively pro israel institutions that are heavily invested in just straight up lying about him and I only know this bc I’ve seen a video of him breaking down a few of the accusations against him and it is genuinely wild and I think speaks to an issue way bigger than whatever he’s done like I’m never going to ask anyone to like him even I said I don’t enjoy watching him, but the way people talk about “leftists” is so revealing and I really wish I knew why people can’t see the nonsense.

I literally had someone reblog my post today to claim that leftist men are all more monstrous than other kinds of men. Now how could someone seriously believe this? What ideology holds a group of men that are exempt from the violence and harm the typical man commits in this world is what I’d like to know? I had a gay boy say he’s divorced himself from leftism because of the rampant homophobia on our side. Because centrists and conservatives love the gays of course. Like what is that? It’s like everyone in this country try is fully committed to believing that anyone who is a leftist is a uniquely evil monster and in order to identify as one or support lefty policies every leftist on earth would have to be completely infallible. It’s like contrapoints finally speaking up about Israel and choosing only to focus on antisemitism from the left as though it’s a bigger uniquely insidious rot on the left that the right is devoid of while they march up and down the street chanting Jews will not replace us! And if you point this out to these people it’s like in one ear out the other. They are looking to twist everything and i don’t understand why
