Got dragged to the mall with my mother. Bored af and she didn’t want me going anywhere because she was like I wouldn’t have time to get to another store before she was done, so I sleight of hand-ed this lil baby into my jacket pocket.

So, this is a 4/20 haul... Funny story behind all of this. I was with a group of people I know but wouldn’t really call friends.
This girl picked me up after class, and she said she needed to go to the mall, cute lingerie for a date, blah blah blah. While she was there finding her shit, Some stuff from VS found their way into my purse. Oops!
Then she decided she needed to go to UO because they carry contour kits and S3ph0ra was fresh out of them. So sure! We go and those brushes find their way into my sleeves. Gosh diddly darn, how did that happen?
Finally we leave the mall and I fake rolling my eyes at her and shit, because she doesn’t know that I lift. Meet up with her boyfriend, get blazed because 4/20 LOL. Munchies kick in, and we figure, hey B!g L0ts has a lot of cheap snacks, why not? So we go. And my ass shoves all that into my purse while they’re getting other stuff. Only thing that pissed me off was the people in front of us in line were arguing with the cashier about the price on something, and to get to the exit doors you basically have to go through a cash out, and I was so nervous....

There’s like no fucking blindspots in Ma=rsh=alls you basically gotta make you own because the fucking shelves are so short. If you followed my first project pan thing, you’d recognize the bodywash LOL. Wasn’t good, wasn’t bad, was just ok, but not worth buying OR lifting IMHO. Brush was an accidental lift. It sucked like balls.

Also I had planned to go lifting this morning before my boyfriend got home but turns out, the heating pad under my bearded dragons cage malfunctioned and got up to 130°F and now she has severe heatstroke and I’m trying to keep her alive instead.
I googled the heating pad I had (and other) and even though they are marketed for bearded dragons and other reptiles they can cause severe burns and heatstroke as they malfunction easily.
Go out and lift all the things from big name pet stores for me because they actively sell products with no regard for the animals safety!

Oh god, I’m so so so fcking sorry. Losing a pet or almost losing a pet is almost like losing a family member. Definitely gonna go fuck up PetSup3rmark3+ some time soon just for this.
People are catching onto the whole black purse = must be a lifter shit. I’m thinking that maybe instead of everyone going batshit for the black MK Selma, we should start using other color bags. Doesn’t have to be a hot pink purse, but like, in brown or tan or gray or something. Anything that isn’t black, but is still pretty damn neutral.
There’s some super cute ones down at Targ+ but I’d actually have to *gasp* buy one, because of how uptight security is there.
Technically, I already have a lifting bag, but it’s big af and it’s black, and thanks to something someone on here said, I know that now people are starting to sus women just for having big black purses. RIP my beautiful purse LOL, it’s been basically sitting on my closet floor for the past month plus while I was taking a hiatus from lifting and now it’s still sitting there because it’s unlikely that I’m gonna get away with using it without looking sus af with it.
SECOND HAUL EVER!!! after i got the modern renaissance from u1ta and made it to my car i started screaming with joy lmao i couldn’t believe i’d done it! I could have easily gotten the peach palette too but i ended up just using it as a decoy once it was in my bag bc i didn’t love the colors once i saw it in real life! tbh going on a thursday evening was SUCH a good idea. i didn’t get sussed ONCE and i don’t really think i’m that good of a lifter! the stores were chaotic and crowded. it was so much fun

You know you grew up done messed up when you finally lift something you really wanted but still question whether you deserve it or if you should just sell it for money
I’m having a bit of a dilemma. I identify as a male, but I’m female-passing. In order to make myself not experience dysphoria, I wear baggy jackets, which obviously is sus af. When I go lifting my outfits a much more girly but it hurts to do that. However, girls are less sus and can carry around purses. Should I take advantage of my looks and have the discomfort (which would bring my sus level way down, so my parinoia goes down) or be comfortable but parinoid I’ll get caught?
Ok, coming from the point of someone who does struggle with their gender identity/presentation at times, I’ll give my polite $0.02 worth. As a girl you CAN carry a purse, or even a lot of shopping bags without being too sus, as hey young women like to shop. As a dude, you’re gonna look a lot more sus walking into certain stores (beauty supply places, female clothing stores) by yourself.
Honestly, I’d suggest looking more feminine when you lift, as it tends to be less sus, depending on where you go to.
Gentle suggestion(s)? Get yourself a tight sports bra. Even if you can’t afford a binder, don’t fucking use elastic bandaids as that shits dangerous. Get a tight sports bra, and ESPECIALLY if you’re a member of the itty bitty titty committee, it’s gonna help a lot. You can always toss on a loose t-shirt over it, and unless peopple absolutely stare, it’s going to be harder to tell you have much/anything up top. That should help at least a lil with the gender dysphoria, and it’s a better solution for summer than wearing baggy ass jackets. I don’t wanna see anyone croak from heat stroke.

Omfg okay so everything is good. My boss left up the page in accident and went to go get food so I fucking searched through all the thumbnails as fast as possible and none of them were for me or were from anywhere I’ve hit. I had to keep looking over my shoulder to look at the cameras to make sure he wouldn’t just walk in as I’m looking through his shit. I should clarify that this database is statewide and you have to either be a (real) cop, or some sort of head director to get access. I was really scared cus most of my lifting is in groceries and have all been walkouts and that’s what a lot of posts were. But yo girl Gucci. All the retailer’s were from places like Kroger, Walmart, meijer, etc. There were some for Victoria’s secret and abercrombie and Fitch. Most of the shoplifters on there are actually from ORC there were a few that weren’t though. It’s an organized retail crime database that has actual suspect names and Jane/John Doe’s and I was scares af because technically I participate in orc. Omfg I’m so relieved

OH. My. Fucking. God. This is the bit where I wish I’d learned hacking skills… ORC = Organised Retail Crime. As in, not just your small time magicians making things disappear for personal use, or opportunistic lifters who just grab stuff that’s around, but people who go out with very specific lists of stuff to lift for higher-ups, who then boost it at a discount. That said, depending on your local laws, stealing by yourself to boost can be considered ORC, even if you have no contacts.
In my state ORC is the intent to steal something with intent to boost before planned theft. Or if you are working with a specific group of people stealing high value items/high value amounts. This is really big here and is really cracked down on because there’s a really bad heroin and general opiate addiction problem here and the drug dealers will give specific lists of items (usually baby clothes) and in exchange they’ll give them drugs. That way the addicts have a way of getting drugs without money. The drug task force is always all over that shit. Which reminds me, never have any sort of drugs on you while lifting. They’ll tie it to anything they can to increase your charges.
So from my last lift. When I got the military green jacket from h + m. Turns out there was a dome tag on the jacket that I didn’t see but it didn’t sound an alarm when I left or when I entered other stores. So I’m wondering if these tags are just a bluff to scare lifters? Or I somehow got a dud.
Anyway it’s not an ink tag, just a magnetic dome as far as I can tell, I’m going to try that burn off method later that has been circulating around lïftblr then upload pics. ✌️😽
I hope I don’t come off as an asshole, but don’t make it a habit of leaving the tags on. You probably didn’t get a dud, unless (as someone said on here) it was from a rack super close to the door, as those sometimes have non-functional tags to visually deter lifters, but they don’t actually work as due to the range of some stores towers, picking them off that rack (or them simply being on the rack) the alarm would constantly be going off.
Sometimes, stores DO turn off the towers, ESPECIALLY if the deactivator thingy at the register for RFIDs sn’t working correctly, as otherwise it would be going off all day and they often consider it would be less of a waste of time and resources to let a couple lifters get away than to check every single person who walks out and beeps.
