✧ things that littles with abandonment/insecurity issues would like their cgs to know . . .
1. please tell them when you are tired while chatting over messages, those changes caused anxiety if they don’t know.
2. always do your best to communicate with them, communication is key. also, communication is very important so they don’t overthink things, which can lead to crises.
3. when you just disappear out of nowhere because you slept (for example), it causes anxiety and scares them.
4. if you are busy, always let them know.
5. they like to know if they can send some spontaneous messages throughout the day. because they feel like a burden.
6. offer reassurance even when it’s not necessary. validate their feelings, even if they seem small or irrational. feeling heard is extremely healing.
7. sometimes they just need you to remind them that you love them and are not going anywhere.
8. words of affirmation and quality time are essential to help a little one’s hurt heart.
9. send random messages throughout the day, it makes them feel remembered and cared for too.
10. always show as much love and care as possible. fully surround them with your affection, letting them feel and see how much you care.
11. avoid harsh criticism or words that could be interpreted as rejection. for an insecure little, this can quickly shake their trust.
12. celebrate small achievements and progress. this helps build self-esteem and shows that you notice and value every effort.
13. avoid long disappearances or unexplained silence. for insecure littles, this can create anxiety and fear of abandonment.
14. be consistent in your actions and promises. predictability creates trust and safety for a little heart that’s been hurt.
15. give space for them to express fears and insecurities without judgment. acceptance is healing.
