sorry about the long wait! And sorry it’s just a sketch 💧 my animation courses have been really tough! I’m trying to get them in so I could submit them to a contest in February. But I’m taking a break to catch up on brawl stars!! I love the new Larry and Lawrie skin so much!!!! I plan on drawing more soon 💛
BUSTER❓ (He‘s my main; I literally have almost everything of his 😭)
I actually got his second gadget from a star drop today!! It was fate heh! I wanted to draw Buster with Fang but after going through a few poses settled on this one which ironically ended up being more Fang than Buster… but I plan on drawing him more soon (he’s also one of my mains!) so I’ll tag you in those! I’m sorry if I didn’t deliver on this one—

He loves sweets and coffee, he likes how they taste a lot, and even though he swears they make him more active and awake no one can tell the difference
Sandy is really good friends with Nita! They play together when they have free time and he stays awake longer so they can hang out more
Maybe an obvious one but he’s got narcolepsy and is being treated for it! Although his medication needs to be adjusted on the regular
He’s still trying to catch up his grades from before he was medicated in school, but generally struggles with not nodding off
Sandy is disappointed he was born so late after Tara. He wishes he could ask his older sister about some of the things he wants advice on but feels like he never really got to know her because of the age gap
Being based on the sandman, he’s become his friends’ resident melatonin as anyone who stays close to him for too long starts to get sleepy. Friends (particularly Leon) invite him to sleepovers when they need a good rest
He’s considered very trustworthy with the people around him, and is not considered lazy. Sure he’s most known for sleeping more than a domestic cat, but when someone asks him for something he’s reliable

Now for the other thing!
Onto Edgar and Poco!
Edgar joined brawling after a particularly hard day and a fight with his mom. He was tired of feeling pushed around and started because (1) he wanted out of the house and (2) he felt he needed something to vent his frustrations. He was already working in Star Park where other brawlers were working around him. The stars seemed to align and he enjoyed it. He hopes to get good enough that he can switch jobs from the gift shop (which is nice but not what he wants to keep doing forever). Edgar can be way more competitive than he tries to let on and gets genuinely upset when he fails. But there’s an upside. Secretly he likes getting treated after a battle by the medic…
Poco joined because he was already dead by that point, he was looking for ways to feel real and this seemed like a good hobby. I imagine he started off stumbling and trying to find where he fit in before realizing he preferred supporting roles. Poco would feel useful and like he could really impact something after those first few matches. I think he found a purpose in brawling where he could share his music and help people who needed some first aid care.

Edgar first! 🧣
He’s convinced himself his clear social anxiety is just another piece of evidence he’s cool and mysterious. He is not.
Edgar tried to vape once and coughed so hard his mom thought he was sick and took him to a doctor
He has an extreme amount of makeup knowledge and knew all the makeup guru drama, he was there when James Charles was outted
Has a hard time expressing himself truthfully because of his lack of social skills
Edgar’s scarf is an extension of his body but the scarf lacks a lot of his thought filters so it tends to act out how he feels or grabs for things he wants. It’s gotten him in trouble and embarrassed him, but is oddly good for complicated dance moves
Says he likes horror a lot but gore makes him feel queasy. He just thugs it out
He wants to come off as a scary guy but he just has slight anger issues and gets irritated easily
Edgar has tried (emphasis on TRIED) to learn some Spanish music for Poco. The best he’s gotten is La Cucaracha and Feliz Navidad, which is impressive given he failed Spanish 1 twice
He’s got a jealousy problem because Edgar thinks others offer more than he could and his few real friends might not want to stick around when they realize
Edgar’s outfits leave him overheating in the summer and cold in the winter
He really does love his mom, she’s his only direct family
Definitely had a demon/wolf/dragon fursona in middle school
Has Pop Drop Candy on multiple of his playlists

Poco started learning guitar when he was 4 with his dad, although his parents weren’t mariachis
Has an absolutely huge extended family and each of them know a different instrument. Family reunions are both crowded and loud. At some point everyone shows off their best song they know how to play, and if everyone goes one after another this can last over an hour
A band kid, went to band camp, but refuses to tell anyone anything about what went down there
He can’t technically sleep anymore as a skeleton, and gets really lonely during the nights. He misses being able to dream and turn his brain completely off, although he’s learned how to rest
Poco’s family are all humans, he died when he was 15 and miraculously came back after being buried next to Star Park
He’s mostly lost his sense of touch, and can’t feel things like heat or cold at all

Claims dying was actually a good thing because now he doesn’t have to deal with allergies anymore
Has a habit of being overly friendly with people at his concerts, which can sometimes cause hurt feelings because someone might think he’s trying to flirt when he’s not, or that he’s leaving his established friend group for a stranger
Poco is absolutely terrible at picking up on social queues

I’m curious- how’d you guys come up with this ship?
It was mostly me! I think it came about the same way most Brawl Stars ships do: I got a really good random and then got personally attached to the dynamic. But I think it would have just left me if I didn’t think there was something really there! In canon they both like Emz and theoretically because of that spend a good amount of time together. Hell, in that one Willow animation Poco and Emz are in a tunnel of love and Edgar is behind them! Plus with the Valentine’s Day special thing with Edgar in the window with the heart arms, just a little bit of imagination and it could be he’s not looking at Emz there.
I don’t think he’s the kind of guy to admit his feelings, and I like the idea that he’s a bit embarrassed to even have any feeling like that for Poco given they’re so different. The sunshine x dark cloud energy is strong and there’s a lot of concepts I have for them I think could really work! But those are less reasons and more head cannons haha!
Vinegar here!! I’m doing pretty good!! I’ve got animations in the works which can get pretty tiring but I’m having fun with it! I’ve also been writing something which I plan on sharing here when I finish. I’m pleasently surprised but excited we got a first ask so soon ahhh!
