The piano had been an impulse buy, one she probably should've regretted more than she did. It had been years since she'd played, years since she'd wanted to play, yet a smile curled her lips as her fingers easily danced over the keys. The windows and doors were all wide open, the house was still full of boxes, things she should've been unpacking still tucked away out of sight as she let herself get lost in the music, barely noticing the slight chill in the air. She was so caught up in playing that she hadn't noticed someone had wandered over until the wooden floor creaked under the weight, causing her to jump and stop playing.
