Going on a hiatus for the time being. I'm a bit burnt out from IRL stuff in my life that I want to spend some more time thinking about - hence why I have missed the last two months on making POEs. Wocean wise - I feel like I had put too much pressure on myself between making POEs and maintaining the wiki (which is still in a bit of a sorry-state) that contributes to the burn out.

I am unsure when I will be back to making POEs. I'll still be around in the Wocean Discord and looking after the Wocean wiki - just want some more offline time to try and get my life together.

Poetry of Exploration - Frozen Ocean

Okay! So I have (mainly) finished this poetry over the Frozen Ocean (need to finish Winter Recluse if I want to 100% it).

Besides the Wooden Ocean, there is yet another ocean we should take a look at - The Frozen Ocean. This area is a large rectangular area that

This is a big achievement for me since mapping the Frozen Ocean was terrifying as back then it was a non-linear map so a grid would not have worked back then. Thankfully, Leif did a big over-haul on the Frozen Ocean and even expanded Winter Recluse by adding like 3 more maps to it.

I will mention here, that the overworld map will only be on the Wooden Ocean Wiki since its nearly 4MB and Steam Guides can only support files at 2MB.

Going to see if I can get started on Winter Recluse sometime this week or next week into May, but we'll see about my workplace since graduation is around the corner and the restaurant tends to be busy.

Okay so I have the Final Forest Maps all done but I have decided that since it is connected to the Frozen Ocean - I am going to also map out the Frozen Ocean Overworld map to put together with the Final Forest maps into one POE. Thankfully its still early in the month so I may be able to get that goal done at the end.

April 2026: Frozen Ocean which will include a overworld map and Final Forest

(maybe) May 2026: Add Winter Recluse town into POE: Frozen Ocean - really depends on how fast I'll be working on it since I have screenshots of that town already.

Starting from here, I am going to add in named equipment to make my Wocean Wiki workload a bit easer so I know where to find items and to check if they exist or not (there are a ton of dupes in the database I would still need to skim over at some time).

During the remainder of March, I am going to work on putting updated maps for South Katis since there were a handful of stuff that had been added since then (like Hidden Hall).

Other than that - the next waypoint map is Final Forest for April 2026!

So...January was bit of a rough month IRL and I have been feeling overwhelmed and burnt out - therefore leading me to not being able to work on some of my goals for the wiki such as trying to update the Talent Tree and adding more to the Quest Log.

Alas - the universe wishes to be entertained by my suffering for the start of 2026.

I'll be working on parts of the wiki here and there but as promised - I'll be resuming POEs and next up on the chopping block will be Curative Forest as now we have moved to the red quadrat of the Waypoint Map (I know that technically I haven't I uploaded the Eastern Ocean map on Steam, but for now it is a "wiki-exclusive" map).

Damn - was hoping to get the POE: Nameless Forest up today but it looks like Steam is having loading problems so I can't publish it.

But I'll see about getting it published before the New Years if Steam will cooperate.

Also also - I may take January to take a small break from making a new POE as I kinda have been neglecting the Wocean Wiki which desperately needs to be worked on.

You know you have been doing maps long enough that you swear TO GOD to had made a map of a location but cannot find it anywhere in your google drive (where i put all finish maps) - that you had to pull up the Wocean Discord to double check that you were not hallucinating making that map —

AND I WAS RIGHT!!!

Therefore Nameless Forest will be the next location and I’ll upload Eastern Ocean into the Waypoint Guide instead. Im not sure if I want to group it with a whole Poetry for “Micellanous Forests” or put it in with Wooden Forest but i’ll keep yall updated where it goes on Steam.

Btw i am still working on the Wocean Wiki albeit at a very slow process of trying to move AND format information as best I can while juggling irl stuff. But i still enjoy it and do plan on maintaining it as long as I live!

So this was suppose to come out last month (September), but I got behind on it with other stuff. But ya know what, Ghost Road is kinda befitting with the month of October!

I still gotta edit in more information on one section but I'll do that after I get home from work tonight (maybe).

But looking at my waypoint lists, there are very few locations left! Of course there are some places I have to update since Leif changed up some maps like South Katis - AND also to update the waypoint crystal map with the newer crystals that have been added, but I'm holding off on doing that until I have the current ones done in case Leif added more to it by the time I get there.

Resuming making Poetry of Exploration maps!

With the Wocean Anniversary now done and the announcement of the Wocean Wiki now made public - I can shift some of my attention back to making POEs.

Next on the chopping block should be the "Temple of Bronze" (aka Puzzle Island). Should hoping that one would be complete by the end of August at the very least.

At this point, I'm kinda juggling and rotating tasks for guide-making, wiki up-keep, and map-making for Wocean - and yet I still couldn't tell ya what the game is about cuz its so wild for me to put into words lol.
