Honestly, I've been thinking about this elsewhere too... why did they give his hair green highlights in the anime? The blue/purple ones look so much better and match his clothes. The colored image on the right is from the manga.

I wonder why no one has made a yandere-adjacent Touya Akira concept yet (or maybe they did and I just haven’t seen it). Maybe instead of killing people he just kills their desire to keep playing Go, until he has Hikaru all to himself all the way at the top

I wanted to draw something with Sai in it, but no matter how hard I try I can’t make anything that looks good. So I drew this out of frustration instead

I am very sad that we never learn anything about Sai aside from his passion from Go. Only for that I am trying to come up with mundane headcanons for him to try to imagine what kind of person he was.

For example, I really like to think that Sai would love sweets, like mochi. And since during the Heian era mochi was eaten during Shinto rituals and celebrations like weddings, I like to think that Sai was the kind of person to only attend weddings for the food lol
