360 deadlift at the EliteFTS S4 compound. 40 pound PR.
I can’t believe I never posted this. However, I’ve had a rough few months and my training took a hit. I can explain more later. Anyhow, I competed this past October in a local RPS meet. I took first place in the 198 open raw classic class. I also broke three New England records: squat, deadlift, and overall total.
Squat - 300
Bench - 125
Deadlift - 340
Total - 765
One of my goals this year was to pull 300 for more than one rep. So. . . I pulled 325 for 2 reps. I think my wolf shirt and leather belt from #elitefts helped a little.
Why my gym is better than yours, reason #83.
This picture of me was used in an article by Jim Wendler! I'm really excited! http://www.elitefts.com/education/dave-and-jim-the-seminar-years
4 sets of 6 at an RPE 7 with one chain on each side. I worked up to 85 pounds.
305 pounds with a 2 inch deficit. This probably wasn't an RPE 9...
There were bands involved, but I squatted with three plates for 315 pounds!

1 year later, and my journey is far from over.
Clint Darden took this photo of my final squat attempt at 290 pounds. I’m so glad I met him and his family.
Getting into my arch. And Matt Rhodes is standing over my face. Ahh...the intimacy bench pressing brings.

L to R: Meeting Jenn Petrosino was amazing! She’s an incredible lifter and was so motivating. I hope to meet her again.

I got to add my bench PR to the PR board!
Getting into my arch.
Approaching the bar for my opening squat of 250 pounds.
It’s log, log! It’s big, it’s heavy, it’s wood! It’s log, log! It’s better than bad, it’s good!
Here, I’m deadlifting 335 pounds, which is another 15 pound PR. This lift was extremely satisfying, despite the grinding. I just remember saying to myself “Make this move, and don’t you dare drop it.”
I’m bench pressing 120 pounds, which is 5 pounds more than my previous PR. This is my third attempt at this weight, and I don’t think I’ve ever been prouder of a PR.
