words are heard,   but she doesn’t respond immediately nor does she bother to look at the owner of the voice.   zara knew exactly who it was   —   he was the only person that would willingly speak to her,   cared for her even,   but she’s not willing to believe that he does.   not because she doesn’t understand,   but because she is scared of the outcome,   afraid of it being fake.   tired eyes finally move,   emerald hues dull from lack of sleep,   and she’s quiet as she turned slightly on the bed.   “   i’ve just been thinking.   ”   he cares,   why else would he say something like that?

words are spoken softly,   but numbly,   and she tensed her jaw as she got up.   her movement is quick,   feet carrying her to stand in front of helo,   and arms immediately wrap themselves around him as though she were afraid of him leaving.   “   i’m trying my hardest,   i am,   but what if i lose my temper when you’re not there?   what if octavia threw me into the cage because of the damage i would cause?   ”   zara swallowed thickly,   arms tightening slightly,   desperate.   “   i won’t win,   helo.   i won’t   —   ”   survive.

she stood in front of the other,  noting the heat that brimmed beneath emerald hues   –   a look of a fighter.     ryan was trying to make sure that zara did not start another fight,  her fists should not kiss another bruised skin so soon.     he’s not worth it,  ryan’s mocha orbs screamed as palms pressed against zara’s shoulders to keep her at bay.             @poisonedribs

anger was visible on features,   surging through veins as gaze locked onto the individual   —   almost like a predator watching prey,   and she badly wanted to cause harm upon him for taunting her.   everyone knew her,   that she couldn’t control her anger that she held within her.   fingers curled to form a fist,   but the sudden touch against shoulders had her gaze shifting,   jaw tensing slightly before she sighed.   “   fine.   ”   she abruptly spoke;   words didn’t have to be spoke to realize what the girl wanted.
