This may be a bit niche but here’s my redesign of the obscure Batman villain Lady Arkham

She only appears in the first telltale game, which you should definitely check out the twist is insane. Her original design looked more like a knockoff scarecrow than anything else so I gave her more of a plague doctor look and the Arkham Asylum symbol from the Arkham games I think it turned out pretty good.

Something a surprising amount of Harlivy content gets wrong is that Poison Ivy DOES have influence in Gotham. Sure she doesn’t have official henchpeople but she is a big shot in the underworld. In Arkham City the goons literally say “there’s no way I’m going around her” they’re terrified of her because they know she will kill them and not even think twice about it.

But you’ll see in the HQ show or even Life & Crimes, a comic I otherwise love, they kinda put Ivy on Harley’s “level” robbing banks and stuff as if she isn’t one of the most famous and powerful Batman villains.

I really really don’t like seductress Poison Ivy. I get it’s about her feeling in control but I just don’t like it. The sexy female villain is such an overdone trope I’m bored of it!

I want Poison Ivy to be someone who would rather bash someone’s head in than be within 5 feet of a person. I want her to be repulsed by the slightest mention of human interaction.
