Myos made his way towards the Guardevoir with a troubled look on his face. Seliel instantly noticed that and changed her position slightly. „What's wrong Myos? Did something happen while you were visiting your friends?“
Myos let out a deep sigh as he sat down. „Y-yeah, kinda..“ Back when he was on his way to visit Lissa and the others, he bumped into a strange Pokemon. While he seemed hostile, Myos assumed he was watching a Phantump nearby and probably was a friend of them. But that changed as they began fighting.
„I know how you always tell me that life and death come as they do and that I have to accept them no matter what...“ He looked up to his mentor, worry and doubt written all over his face. „But it seemed so wrong!...That strange Pokemon attacked the other one and dragged his prey off to...well I don't know! They vanished into thin air!“
„You mean teleportation?“
„No it felt different! Also the Phantump was still alive, isn't that strange?“
Seliel couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. „What exactly was strange about it? A hunter and their prey are simply another concept of life we should notinterfere with. Or do you object?“
Myos' ears twitched as he struggled to get his words out. „No, but...that hunters...his presence was strange! It was...“ He paused, trying to find another way to word this.
„His aura was like yours but...also not. Yours is way more gentle and calm, but his...I could feel his joy in killing others...“ He gulped after finally getting this part out. „I didn't talk to Lissa about this, I didn't want to worry her...but I still couldn't stop thinking about all this. It made me wonder...as I know you don't eat normal food...if that Pokemon really was like you, why would he need to hunt anyway? So...this is not about a hunter and their prey anymore! Meaning...i-if I object that behaviour I don't go against what you taught me, right?“
Apparently Myos really worried about how his point of view differed from her lessions. To calm him down, Seliel placed a hand on his forehead and nodded. The Eevee smiled in relief – he had wanted to get this off his chest for quite a while! - but now Seliels face seemed even more serious than usual.
Did this mean one of her kind had managed to escape the void? Make its way here? If that was the case, Myos had been lucky to make it out with only a sense of dread.
„Myos. Tell me anything you saw that day in detail, will you?“
Myos began recalling everything he saw, curious as to why his mentor seemed so intent on this. Still, it had to be importat, so he gave his best!
„And then they just vanished!“ Myos had stood up in his description and was now sitting down again, watching Seliel sitting besides him, with her eyes closed and the usual blank face scrunched up in deep thought. It took a minute before she nodded to herself and reopened her eyes. „I need to investigate this further. Do you fully recall what the Pokemon looked like? Any feelings connected to them?“
Myos nodded and told her any details he had forgotten to include as well as the feeling of dread and terror that had almost claimed him when he was near the stranger. He had tried to ignore those feelings back then but definetly didn't forget about all his instincts shouting at him for running away from that Pokemon.
Once he was finished, Seliel began with her preperations.
„Promise me you'll be careful!...Oh I wish I could come with you...“
„You have your own responsibilities, Myos. You know what to do while I'm gone.“
„I won't disappoint you!“
„I know you won't. Farewell.“
Seliel made wide movements with her hands, the energy from her back mimicking said movements. That energy started to move, widen, dance around the Guardevoir as if it had a mind on it's own. Another few moments later a cloud of that pink energy formed around Seliels' outstretched arms. Her full body remained tense, face showing no emotions, no movements could be seen.
What Myos and the others watching could not see was how her mind and psychic abilities worked on full speed. While the energy before her seemed like nothing more than decoration to others, it was a gateway to another dimension. Getting inside of it washer goal because the strange Pokemon Myos saw was sure to be in there.
Usually, no one could enter unless inivted. But, like any other restricted area, it could be broken into if you had access to the needed abilities – the ability that was unique to their kind.
To reach into the other dimension was difficult; it was like picking a lock with nothing but a broken hairpin. Possible, but only for the ones skilled enough.
It might take hours or even days, but hearing that another one of them was out there...she could not afford to sit by!
Seliel is in full concentracion and not available for asks at the moment. Myos and the others are watching her and taking care of everything at the graveyard for now.
