[Location] – Forge City

Forge City is home to one of the lesser mines of the region, but foremost it is home to the manufacturing plants where the metal from other mines are used. Here, Snowdrift, and Lazuli are the backbones of the silicon revolution.

It is also home to the Steel Type gym.

[Location] – Cyan Town

This beachfront town is less fortunate than Lazuli Town, for the sand is too mucked to make fine silicon, and the port’s location makes for a more convoluted route for sailing to other regions. There are locations that feel the recession more, but the people of Cyan town look to Lazuli with wanting eyes.

[Location] – Sediment City

This city is known for its large mine that is the backbone to the silicon revolution, and houses many strong pokemon to strip the rock of precious ores.

It is also known for its Rock Type gym.

[Location] – Earthroot Town

This small town also has lost its purpose, for its once difficult to harvest earthen roots are now easily collected and exported by machines. Those once-laborers have little else to do in such a small place, and resentment festers.

[Location] – Pollen Town

This town is precious for its abundance in plants that make the various cures used for healing Pokemon. As such, it is home to the largest Pokemon Center that treats more complex problems than battle wounds. 

It is also known for housing the Grass type gym.

[Location] – Daffodil Village

The village is known for its beautiful flowers, attracting people from various regions in another touristy spot.

[Location] – Stratus City

High to the clouds does this city aim, skyscrapers climbing ever higher – and to some, hopefully away from the recession. Regardless, it holds a fairly large population due to the pleasant weather. This city is known for having the largest shopping center, with the most diverse products.

It also houses the Flying type gym.

[Location] – Amarill Village

This pristine village supplies many of the autumnal crops and spices that fetch high prices in other regions, though labor is more automated and has displaced lives due to it.

[Location] – Daybreak Town

Leaving the dregs of winter behind, Daybreak town embraces the heat and survives off the Fire Gym it houses alone. There is remarkable little about this town that distinguish it besides this, and the people resent the silicon revolution because of it.

[Location] – Hotbed Village

This quaint village is known for its unique hot springs, which marks it as a popular tourist stop. As such, most of its economy is centered around its upkeep. It also keeps watch over the volcano that is responsible for their springs.

[Location] – Snowdrift City

Snowdrift City is home to the Snowdrift University where those showing the potential are trained to handle and improve upon the rapidly expanding technology that has changed the world. Due to the extremely cold temperatures, the city also houses the world’s largest supercomputer.

It is home to the Ice Type gym, as well.

[Location] – Autumnal Village

Set in a perpetual state of autumn, the town’s purpose was lost after the automation revolution. It serves now more than ever as a respite for those planning the trek to Snowdrift Mountain.

[Location] – Lazuli Town

This town is home to many functions, and as such enjoys the perks of such opportunities. It sees little of the problems the recession has brought.

First and foremost, it is a port town where they import and export goods as well as fishing. It enjoys a prime spot on the beach for tourists, as a nice bonus.

It houses as well the Water Type gym.

[Location] – Granitesand Village

Here is where sand from Lazuli Town is made into silicon for electronics. From they they’re imported to select cities to make modern devices. There is a certain resentment being at the heart of what – as it seems – is making their lives harder.

[Location] – Birchwood Town

This still burgeoning city is home to the wireless communication tower, and as such is home to those elite silicon graduates who can operate the higher-end functions of technology, that which cannot be automated. It is small and leaves little room for those who don’t serve its purpose.

It is also home to the Electric Type gym.

[Location] – Honeycomb Town

A humble town despite its importance. It lies in one of the quietest forests in the Alma region, and makes its income primarily from the Beedril honey it produces. People often find reprieve from the recession here, due to the nature of harvesting Beedril honey – it is not something that can be automated.

Despite its humility – or perhaps because of it, it is home of the Pokemon Lab where Pokedexes are given out.

[Location] – Alma Region

A proud nation of those that sit atop thrones strewn for all people regardless of creed – at least it is what’s said. There are murmurs among the lowest that the low are bereft that place to sit.

Primarily an export driven nation, automation in production has slowed economies to a halt as jobs become more scarce. Populations of people and pokemon have caused restrictions in trainer licensing, and so trainers have become less common than in other regions. Making a stable living from Pokemon Training has become akin to making a living off professional sports.

As such, pokemon are primarily caught and used for companionship and labor, though many are taught to fight in self defense.

There are those that say things could be better, but the augurs and council of town leaders see little to be done.
