@pokeshits
So I was taught a lesson in how to get rid of a migraine in 30 seconds and omfg listen my migraines donât go away ever but I was shown what part of my body to touch and like???????????????
Itâs witchcraft????????? Like I would be burned at the stake if I lived in ye olde days knowing that information?????
What the fuck??????
Spill it! LolâŠ.Hooooowwwww?? Had migraines since age 9âŠ.đđđ
Its called the T4 push, but I literally canât find the info online????? I guess Iâm not searching good enough? These medical fuckers are holdin out on us lol.
Itâs best to have someone do this for you while you stand up and relax your muscles as best you can, but if youâre alone, a tennis ball and a flat surface will probably work. Alternatively you can lie on the edge of a bed at the pressure point. (But no really do try to find someone to do it for you)
Find the area in your spine between either the first, second, third, or fourth vertebrae. It should be sore and uncomfortable to press down on, so look for the one thatâs most painful, and press down with as much pressure as you can on that area for 30 seconds.
Realize that 80% of your pain has magically disappeared and keep the info secret if you live in a small puritan town, lest you be tried for witchcraft.
If you donât have to worry about being burned or hanged, then share the info with your migraine suffering friends.
As someone who wrote a 10k word paper on pressure points for a high belt ranking test in her martial arts class, I can tell you that you just found a pressure point used in acupressure and acupuncture to relieve pain, particularly that in the head. :)
Hand to god we discovered this by accident when my husband was rubbing my neck and I nearly collapsed it felt so good
This post was sent by literal angels??? Iâve had a persistent low-level headache for nearly 24hrs and now itâs gone??? In 30 seconds? What gods did you sacrifice to for this information!?!?
As a medical massage therapist, I thought I would give my two cents.
This is good for tension migranes and normal migraines, but actually pretty useless for sinus migraines. Itâll help for a hot second, but quickly come back. (These are usually the migraines behind your eyes, in your ears, and behind your forehead. Sometimes it can feel like jaw pain or TMJ) for sinus migraines, behind the ear in a divot. Press down firmly and pull towards your collarbone. Thatâll drain your sinuses. Also, pressing around the eye socket on the cheekbones help. There is also a little triangle up away from the eye in the eyebrow bone. Press and hold pretty hard and thatâll relieve that behind the forehead pain. Also, ear pulling is great to help move sinuses around.
Donât forget the temples too! Press firmly and hold. Open and close your jaw while holding your temples. Itâll feel weird, but itâll help with jaw pain. Itâll work a similar way if you hold the jaw joint under your cheekbone.
And never underestimate the power of a foot massage!! Give minutes can be all the difference!! Our feet are our base. If they hurt even a little, somewhere else in your body will hurt. Treat your feet and sinuses kindly!
As a lifelong sufferer from frequent migraines I will reblog this everytime I see it, for myself and my fellow sufferers!!
Trainer Customization and Pokemon Camp in Sword and Shield!
i really did it to em
You can actually feel them connect and work in sync here. In all the other battles weâve seen Guzma fight, he just stood still and maybe clenched his fist and gestured with his hands here and there as only frustration was present in his voice. But once he realises how much Golisopod cares about him and what their training and relationship was missing, he just starts to make all those gestures that feel so natural and in sync with what Golisopod is doing, almost as if they weâre uniting to do a Z-move. He leans back and then lunges forward the same way Golisopod does as itâs using Pin missile, and he does it with such newfound passion and energy. Guzma and Golisopod finally fixed their relationship, and it resonated within both of them.
I love how even the grunts have a momentary âWTF was that?â reaction to Guzmaâs staredown with Ash.
Her
And of course, the magnum opus
Omake. (I hope we see Team Skull again before the series ends. We didn't really get a lot with Guzma, even less than I was thinking...)
How Guzma is like his Golisopod
Iâve done a lot of thinking on this, so letâs start with its earlier evolution, Wimpod.
Asides from obvious visual similarities, Wimpod (and Golisopod) share a lot of similarities with Guzma. I personally played Pokemon Sun and I feel this entry fits best, so Iâm going to use the Rotom Dex entry from Sun:
âThis PokĂ©mon is a coward. As it desperately dashes off, the flailing of its many legs leaves a sparkling clean path in its wakeâ
Wimpod also has the ability Wimp Out, which turns into Emergency Exit once it evolves. Both have the exact same concept, once the HP reaches approx. half, the Pokemon flees from battle.Â
This is similar to how Guzma fled from his home, and from the Kahunas in the Island Challenge (as said in the anime).
However, as Wimpod grows into Golisopod, it does become much stronger. This represents Guzmas growth as a trainer and as a person, hardening his own internal shell. The visual appearance of the Pokemon shows this as well, as you can easily see the terror in the Wimpods eyes and the lack of emotion in the Golisopods. The difference in size is also quite obvious.
Now letâs take the Rotom Dex entry from Ultra Sun for Golisopod:
âThe shell covering its body is as hard as diamond. This PokĂ©mon will do anything it takes to winâ
Anything it takes to win. Guzmaâs character is one that would also do anything it takes to win. He grew too old to become a trial captain so he formed a whole gang of teenagers for fucks sake. This is even shown in a quote from the Sun/Moon games
âThe hated boss who beats you down, and beats you down, and never lets up.â
Never lets up. Will do anything it takes to win.
Guzma being reflected as a bug Pokemon alone shows a lot of similarities. Bug Pokemon are very often looked down upon and mocked for being weak, which Guzma once was. (see my other post about Guzmas past)Â But being able to go from a weak Wimpod to a strong Golisopod proves that bug Pokemon can be strong, and are not forces to be reckoned with. They are capable of destruction (just as Guzma claims to be)
reblogging because plumeria agrees with me đ„Žđ„Ž
forgot I had these. sometimes he slep.
Guzma (ă°ășă) - Pokemon Sun and Moon - Episode 136
Team Skull + Video Games
idk why this came to mind but here we go
Grunts:
When you run away from home, the first thing you think of isnât âlemme pack the xbox real quickâ. The grunts if anything, have handhelds, anything ranging from a gameboy to a scrappy old 2011 3DS with scuffs and maybe a dodgy button or control stick here or there, couple of dead pixels, and no money to get it repaired. MAYBE an old Wii or Gamecube, cause what kid is gonna fuck off and NOT take their Gamecube? Mario sunshine is FIRE (so yeah, theres probably a Gamecube somewhere in the mansion but itâs not in use)
Team Skullâs Grunts are notorious for vandalizing property and stealing shit that donât belong to them, so any local game stores are reluctant to let them in.
Since Plumeria is such a pushover to her little siblings, Since Plumeria is so nice, she tucks in her skull medallion and lets her hair down to stuff it in a bandanna so that the store owners let her in, and she dons her Nice Faceâą to go get games for the grunts once they give her the money, though this is a privilege, so if they piss her off, they get cut off from their supply.
Thereâs one old, battered Xbox 360 stashed in the closet. No faceplate, gotta use a pen or something to turn it on and the side has a crack covering the whole area after one of Guzmaâs outbursts. The stupid thing overheats in the summer so its out of use for most of the year when itâs too hot. The only thing itâs used for anymore is Minecraft. The old 360 version doesnt update anymore, but that donât mean there aint a couple worlds on there. The grunts on their off time (which is like, most days) will get out the 360 and boot up minecraft. Thatâs the one world that Guzma isnât allowed in. Heâs got his own.
(woah look at that fuckin segway)
Guzma:
Guzmaâs Minecraft world is OLD, like⊠OLD bitch. Shits seen a couple birthdays. Plumeria had got the console from some guy on the street, giving shit away that he didnt need, basically a yard sale but everything was free. A take it if you want it and itâs yours kinda deal. Came with a couple controllers and a small group of games.
Guzâs world is a fuckin hot mess. Holes everywhere, heâs crap at building, looks like a 12 year old made everything. You bet your ass that he went into creative one time and just filled a chest full of TNT once he found out it existed. Grunts can join the game, sure, but the amount of small starter houses lying around that got blown up because they got pranked by the boss and fell victim to his stash of TNT is uncountable. Plumeriaâs got a house too in that world, just like in the gruntsâ one, but sheâs hardly on the game since she has other things she prefers to do more often. Despite that, if Guzma dares TOUCH her fucking house she will pay him back double, be it in the game or in person. Guzma is the only one who would dare test her, so she doesnât need to worry about the grunts messing with her stuff.
He doesnât play FPS shooters anymore, because the other games that came with the xbox were Halo games. Those halo games are why theres a massive fuck off crack and no faceplate on the console. Also one time one of the original controllers went out the window, so there was a lot of 1 player gaming until they could afford another as a replacement. Now Guzma sticks to games he can either win or just fuck about in.
The Wii U in the mansion Guzma picked up for cheap at some yard sale (probably because the owner was thinking âwhat the fuck is the boss of Team Skull doing in my front yard please get off my property here take it please dont smash in my windowsâ). Needless to say, that was probably the biggest score of pretty much that whole year. I mean, if your first reaction to a 6âČ5, intimidating gang boss in your yard isnât âjust fucking take the consoleâ or âhotâ then your brain probably aint wired right. Guzma is the undisputed king of Mario Kart. Heâs always the one with the gamepad because fuck everyone else. He gets to spy everyoneâs items and thats it. No fucker else.
Plumeria usually nudges the grunts to lay off if they constantly place ahead of the boss, mostly for everyoneâs sake, but mostly for that of the fucking money pot. she aint spending money on a new Wii U gamepad. Sheâs surprised the original one has lasted this long.
Plumeria:
Has over 1000 hours in animal crossing on DS. She also plays that brain training game that every mom owned back in like 2006. She plays casual games to keep sane. I mean, if she didnât, sheâd have blown this house up and moved to Kanto by now.
She also has Nintendogs, which she at one point found out that she had that in common with one of the girl grunts and so every week without fail, the two of them get together and give each other gifts and play with their dogs together.
(Sidenote: would nintendogs be pokemon dogs? Lillipup & friends, Poochyena & friends; Rockruff & friends, etc.)
part 2 might come later if i feel like it
Looks like Guzma, and by extension Team Skull falls victim to obvious backstory and developmental themes but not having the correct platform to deal with them in the right way. I thought the anime was going to actually try to properly resolve Guzma's arc but as it's looking now it's probably gonna be some pep talk from Plumeria and then he magically becomes good and that is honestly gonna be such a letdown if that happens
âPlease go easy on me, Bossâ
great job redbubble
great job
if guzma isnât in pokĂ©mon masters i think iâm gonna need a colonoscopy
painted myself a little team skull grunt
