The beginning of Nezumi and Satokibi journey in the human world. After the tragedy that occurred in the underground city, Nezumi could not come to terms with her own shame and guilt. She decided to take a desperate step, leave her home and atone for her guilt. Satokibi, who always dreamed of being in the outside world, does not let the girl go alone, but follows her. Through the portal, friends first come to the surface. A huge world, many cities and countries, a contrast of cultures. Nezumi and her friend Satokibi will have to face all this. The first day in the human world was very stressful for them, especially Nezumi. Satokibi realized that the reaction of most people to his appearance could have negative consequences, so he began to hide in the folds of Nezumi's clothes and in her hair. Nezumi, despite the feelings of fear and anxiety, could not hide anywhere, and in order to survive she had to be in direct contact with people. Even simply buying food at the market caused her problems; she completely forgot that people have a monetary system. Fortunately, she and Satokibi had foreseen this and took with them a small bag of precious stones. Somehow avoiding a scandal in the market, almost falling under the wheels of a speeding cart and escaping from hooligans, this difficult day ended. Nezumi and Satokibi will spend tomorrow and the next days searching for who (or what) will make them stronger to atone for Nezumi's guilt.
