Honestly, I think the administration has been doing a good job so far. Most of the complaints I've seen from people (those who are on Twitter/Tumblr) are the $2,000 check and the cancelation of college student debt. The $2,000 check is being dealt with by Congress so it's a legislative problem not an executive one. (Aka Mitch McConnell) As for the debt, while I do agree it should've been $50,000 instead of $10,000, I still think that going down the legislative route to make the cancellation more effective is a good call.
I just think progressives are making a lot of ruckus in a place that doesn't need it.
Other than that, I'm very glad that Biden's top priority is getting the pandemic under control with a good vaccine roll-out.
Well, damn. It’s like you read my mind. I agree 100%. All I see over Twitter is people getting frustrated and angry at Biden for not giving out $2,000 stimulus checks, but then I wonder if they even understand how the federal government works. A lot of work that needs to get done is at the hands of Congress, not the President. Progressives are always like that and it’s getting annoying because people need help NOW; all they do is talk and whine but I just feel like sometimes they need to stop talking and get to work. My only frustration is the vaccination rollout. This could have been handled so much better and we could’ve seen so much more progress sooner but at this point, idk who to blame.
