Summer in the 90s is Paul’s re appearance to the spotlight after he released White Rhino 2. This project is a journey through one of Brooklyn’s most certified neighborhoods, East Flatbush, better known as “The 90s.” He attempts to re focus society’s view of the black man by celebrating his accomplishments (“A Boogie, Shameless promo”) while catering to the sound of today. He celebrates the best of times in the life of a struggle (in Saturday,) while spilling out his true feelings (“Deeper than rap”). Overall, Polo Paul touches on every aspect of life while displaying how much he has grown since his last project. This is a must listen, play one and I promise you’ll have to listen to every song.
