Hector's mamma and their place of residence/work AKA the laundry :] both featured in my backstory fic which you can find in the pinned post wink wink

my version of The Drain is like "a pier made into a whole city" (kinda using my friend gio's description here haha). basically they all live above the ground, on stilts and such. threw a bunch of things in there and i think there's potential for smth really cool. would like to make more environmental concept art for it in the future, like their metro system.

initial design idea for the laundry. i love the stilt house concept cuz not only is it adaptation to the environment they all live in, it also parallels irl monkeys with most species living in tree canopies, rarely going down to the ground (cuz u know, danger).

step by step process! kept adding detail the further i went and i'm pretty happy with the end result, think it conveys the right mood and atmosphere. took inspiration from the artist Alariko for the coloring style

and first ever concept of gabby i made back in 2025 when i was suffering an art block, not my best tbh but at least it defined her basic traits.
