One of my uncles is a birder (person who photographs birds) and whenever he visits California we go with him to different nature parks to look at birds and boy do I look at the birds. I get out my binoculars and everything. I help my uncle with his big camera lenses. What is the name of the bird we just photographed? That’s not my business.

Birdwatching is really easy when you are quiet and like getting close to things without them noticing you and also have a head empty no thoughts approach to learning the scientific names of things.
