There is no moral state of being when it comes to STIs. STIs are not dirty, gross, evil, funny, morally judgy, etc.

Bodies get sick sometimes. It’s not anything worse than suddenly catching the flu. It’s no one’s fault (people who knowingly and maliciously spread illnesses are luckily rare), it’s not a moral sign of anything.

Remember all of this when you talk about sexual safety and health. Yes, avoid getting sick if you can, but if you DO get sick, IT’S OKAY. You’ll be okay. You’re not “dirty”, “soiled”, “ruined” - none of that. Include THAT message.
