A few tips to getting on top of your education early on
I’m assuming that most of you have already started school (I haven’t yet) and it’s already been a while so school will eventually become stressful again. So I’m back with a few tips that I hope all of us can test out together:
1. If you haven’t already done it, review all the notes you’ve written in class so far. Stop postponing it, and fix those notes! Look up extra information about important points raised in class!
2. Related to number 1, ask your lecturer if you have problems. If you can’t find what something means, or more information about something, ask your lecturer to give you references you could consult.
3. If you haven’t done this already, either set up colour-coded binders for each of your classes or do the same digitally (I suggest one note, each class a different tab). You’ll thank yourself.
4. Stop postponing your readings! Give yourself a balanced schedule where you get rest and your readings done. (and if you work don’t over do it! I really admire your hard work but take care of yourselves as well)
5. Make it a point to clean out your bag every week or 2 because the bottom of your bag will soon look really nasty, trust me.
6. This last one is not really advice, but I want youto know that even if you take a nap and sleep long hours at night, don’t ever feel guilty about it. If you’re tired your brain won’t process the information and you’re losing sleep for nothing.
I was inspired by the many other posts on studyblr, but as long as someone reads this and feels inspired to study, my job in the studyblr community is achieved.
For those who haven’t yet started, you can also follow some of these tips!
Let’s work towards making this world a better place, one good grade after another.
