It’s probably been two years or more since I’ve posted on this account, but I’m posting this anyway. 

For my final project this year I’m doing a study on the experience women and other people who use menstrual products have with pads, tampons, menstrual cups, etc. 

If you’re between 18 and 30 years old and you use menstrual products you’d do me a tremendous favour if you’d go and fill in my survey.

It takes about 5 to 10 minutes and it’s completely anonymous. 

Your contribution would help me create something to improve the experiences people have with marketing, language and visuals surrounding menstruation and menstrual products.

some part of me wholeheartedly agrees that studyblr should be a lot more study tips/advice instead of studyspo, but then another part of me totally understands and realizes how much time and effort it takes to come up with a decent post like that. 

I would post nothing but original study tips on this blog if I could, but I frankly just don’t have the time or resources to do so & it’s a lot easier to take a quick snapshot of my studying and upload it here on tumblr.com

Hi there! Do you study in the US? I have loads of questions I would love to get some help with if you don't mind so please do shed some light if you can, it'd be greatly appreciated! I'm from Singapore and I'm currently doing the A Level course. For applications to US, when do we need to start applying? Also what do they require because I don't think you guys have the A Level course right? Is SAT the only thing you need? Thanks a billion in advance (really hoping you're from the US haha) X X X

Someone who knows more about this than me: @beautifulanaepest: Applying to the US for college needs the following: ACT or SAT (depending on the school), transcripts, TOEFL if English is not your first language, and various essays and fees. Most schools have a December 1 deadline, but a November deadline for early admission.

How to remember things i have studied before if i just study it for the first time before the exam day? Any exercise or things to do! Thanks in advance

If I really have to remember something after only studying something for the first time I do the following things:

- I make up stupid sentences and word games to help me remember certain words and phrases. 

- I read the text (out loud) to myself while nervously pacing up and down my room. 

- I take a sheet of paper and try do draw out the thing I’m supposed to remember without looking at the syllabus whilst explaining the thing out loud to myself. Try pretending you’re teaching the thing to someone else. This one works really well! 

I know this answer probably came too late, but that’s what I do. :)

How are you productive everyday? Do you have any tips?

For me, it’s all about mindset and what you put into “being productive every day”. Earlier I would be like “oh yeah I’m gonna do a chapter of reading and notes every day” and then fail after less than a week. Now, I change the meaning of productivity depending on the circumstances. On Thursday, when I was so sick I could barely get out of bed to go to the bathroom, productivity meant getting as much rest as possible. Yesterday, when I was feeling a bit better, productivity meant having a shower, going to my seminar and tidying my room. Today, being productive meant finishing a job app and all my reading for this week. 

For me, the being productive every day thing is less about accomplishing more stuff, and more about feeling better mentally. The less zero days I have, the more stressed out I feel. I find that if I do at least one productive thing or even just planned thing (like Thursday, when the entirety of my plan was to rest), I feel better with myself and less stressed, because I know that I have done at least one of the things I planned for that day. If I can get more done, brilliant! If not, I can look back and see at least that one thing. 

The only tips I can really give is to work on your mindset and on your planning. I find it a lot easier to actually do something productive if I plan out what I want to do and when I want to do it. And as I said, mindset, realising why it is important to you, and the fact that being productive can be as big or as small as you need it to, that was what changed it for me. xx

So I want to post some of my drawings on the internet to help me get more motivated to draw, but the thing is, I don't have fancy art supplies and I'm not that good. (And by bad art supplies, I mean I do traditional art with Ticonderoga number 2 pencils, outline with cheap pens that I get for free, and color with the stubs of Crayola Pencils I find lying around.) I'm scared of people saying cruel things about it TBH, even though this is something I like to do. Help?

if you like doing it, you should keep doing it! people will probably say mean things either way, but heres the thing: if they dont say mean things to help you get better, then theyre just asshats who have nothing better to do. and then theyre not worth your time. 

a big thing about doing art and posting it online is to just be brave and do it! even if theres mistakes and whatnot, people will most of the just be happy theres more content for them to see! idk if it helps any, but im terrified most of the time i post things, but i do it anyway because i KNOW that deep down it will only help me get motivated to draw more! 

about your comment about art supplies… you dont need fancy things! see this thing? 

that was drawn with this shit i found laying around. drew it on a post-it note, sketched with some thing from… high school? bic pen for inks, ikea stamp marker thingys for colors, and some lyra color pencils. and a highlighter? holy shit.

all of this is stuff i found and or stole from some schools supply closet. you dont need more than this! as long as you put your heart into what you draw, and put some time and effort in it, you can do anything you want! 

present what you make, and be positive about it, and people will enjoy it! try not to put negative comments on your art, because eventually you will start believing yourself, and thats bad! because i believe in you, and you CAN do it, if you just wanna!
