Polyphony Rocks!

POLYPHONY : a style of musical composition employing two or more simultaneous but relatively independent melodic lines : counterpoint. From the Greek polyphōnia - variety of tones, from polyphōnos - having many tones or voices, from poly- + phōnē voice. I like a lot of diverse genres, especially European music composed from about 1400 to 1800, American popular music styles, i.e. Jazz, Blues, and Rock, and music involving multi-part improvisation.

In terms of instrumentation (and maybe in other ways), this is my most conventional composition to date. Its basically a chamber orchestra: flute, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, violins, violas, cellos, and basses. Thanks for listening!
