Jay Flannery, an NPC from my Dialtown story mod Inevitable Progress, in which Oliver is time-travelled back to 1964, and finds himself tangled up in the deteriorating relationships of Callum Crown, Marla Crown, and Milton R. Wallace as he tries to find a way home.
Jay is a townsperson Oliver encounters on day 1. She's a very busy butch who loves to speak in nigh-meaningless business jargon, to the point that trying to actually learn anything about her becomes difficult. This is because Jay is, in fact, an accountant for the Dialtown mob- she just doesn't want anyone to know about that. It's not even that she's doing badly or is in real danger for the most part- she's just incredibly paranoid about anyone finding out and seeing her as anything less than a Good And Proper All American Business Boy. She can get real twitchy and trigger-happy if she thinks someone's putting the pieces together..
Also, she's very anti-communist.
