a/n: heyy how yall doing 😅yes I want to restart this whole series I just didn’t know how to continue Joohyung and I kinda fell out of love with her. So here we are with Ken Haru who I thought a lot of and I want to start this with lots of information about her and I hope yall like her! I also want to make bonus chapters that are not canon little chapters like in anime where they have beach day and shit like that. I think it'll be cute.
Background/Childhood info-
ೃ࿔ Ken Haru was borned in Osaka, Japan. Once she turned 2 her parents decided to live in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
ೃ࿔ Ken Haru Martinez is her full name both parents decided to place both their last names in her name since when they got married also in a young age because it was love at first sight. So her mom’s name is Ken Akia Martinez and her dad’s is Miguel Ken Martinez.
ೃ࿔ All of Haru’s family knew she was going to either be in the art world or entertainment world because of her parents’ jobs. Her dad is a texture painter, but he is most known for his modeling. He modeled for a lot of high end brands including always busy during fashion week. Her mom is a famous fashion designer known for dreamy whimsical gowns. She was a ballerina dancer before she quit wanting to pursue fashion.

ೃ࿔ Haru is a mixed girly her mom is Japanese/Puerto Rican and her dad is just Puerto Rican, and with having a big multi language family she had to learn lots of languages to communicate. Haru knows fluently; Spanish, Japanese, English, and Korean once she decided to become an idol.
ೃ࿔ She spent elementary school years in which was a private school mainly her mother’s decision. Both Haru’s parents always wanted the best education possible. After elementary school her parents decided to continue middle school in Japan to spend time with her mother’s family and getting used to both cultures.
ೃ࿔ During Haru’s schooling years she was a bit of a trouble maker. Always talking during lectures, making jokes out loud causing the whole class to laugh and get distracted, and not paying attention causing her to not do her work assignments. Parent teacher conferences were a must for Haru unfortunately in both schools.
ೃ࿔ Haru was a very active kid always doing some type of sports, and of course in a Spanish household she always played soccer with her dad, uncles, and cousins. In Japan Haru fell in love with volleyball and even got into the middle school volleyball team.
ೃ࿔ At the age of 10 Haru became an older sister welcoming her little brother, Ken Hinata Martinez.
ೃ࿔ Haru was actually scouted while during her vacation back to Puerto Rico visiting her dad’s side of the family. One of the bighit scouting employees was also vacationing in Puerto Rico, and saw Haru with her mom shopping. As we all know bighit didn’t accept any female trainees, but with Haru short boyish hair cut plus she’s a bit on the smaller size in the chest area the scouting employee thought she was a boy. So the employee made her way towards the daughter and mother and proceeded to try and hand Haru their business card. Haru’s mom instantly became wary of the employee and at first was denying even taking the card. Eventually the employee found out that Haru’s mom is partly Japanese and started speaking Japanese while explaining how Haru should audition to be a part of a Kpop group.
ೃ࿔ Haru did like dancing and singing and just learned for the fun of it. She never thought about actually using those skills to pursue a career off of them.
ೃ࿔ During the audition process the scouting team soon found out Haru is a girl because she corrected them. “He’s really good plus his visuals are crazy and unique.” One staff member complimented. “He?” Haru tilted her head to the side, confused. The staff members paused their deliberation, “you are a boy right?” Haru shook her head ‘no’. “I’m a girl…actually.” Let’s just say the staff members had to really convince bang pd to keep Haru in the trainee process since they had lots of faith in her succeeding in the future boy group they were planning.
ೃ࿔ Haru looks are very unique because she has naturally tan skin which she got from her dad side along with his gray-blue eye color, and all of Haru features looks like her mom’s because she has her mom’s plump lips, small head, cat shaped eyes, and lots of moles on her face. Other features that people are obsessed with are Haru’s two fang teeth making her look like a little vampire along with her Cheshire Cat-like smile. People find it really attractive.
ೃ࿔ people on social media are very envious about how androgynous Haru looks because she likes keeping her hair in a short wolf cut, and she has a pretty lean body. Like body on TEA because she also has a fatty in the back like some of her members (ifyyk).
ೃ࿔ Haru is extroverted with a hint of introvert in her at times, but is does not stop her from being flirty just to mess with the other person maybe make them blush here or there. Despite her handsome/pretty visuals that may look like she’s a cold cocky person, Haru is actually a sweetheart and a very kind person who tries to make whoever she is with smile or laugh and comfortable.
ೃ࿔ Haru is really funny to the point where she has to do something silly every five seconds or she’ll die. Haru is also very unintentional with it too. Anything could make the members laugh when it comes to her.
ೃ࿔ could be very spontaneous which causing the company anxiety. One time she went to the piercing shop and got her ears all pierced up with cool jewelry. Another time she got a color block hair color/design of a cheetah print on her hair, sending their stylist in a panic.
ೃ࿔ very protective of her members to the point that she will talk back to fake moas who comment about their looks or weight during a live and in person. Haru has gotten in trouble for it from their staff, but she will do it again. She isn’t scared if they’re on a variety show as the host gets a little too comfortable and says some backhanded comment because Haru will send it right back at them. Another thing is dealing with sasaengs because again Haru isn’t afraid of them. Haru will slap the phone out of their hands if they get too close to her or her members, if she can’t slap their phones she will use her own phone and open the camera app then shoves her phone in their faces recording them. A big no no from the company is Haru cursing at the sasaengs, but she still does it because it makes her boys laugh because she curses at them in Spanish.
ೃ࿔ Haru is a very open minded person. She’s never scared to show her love and support for the lgbtq community just as they show love to her. She constantly makes sure it’s a safe place for moas who are in the community whenever she meets them like;
“Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m meeting you! Can I call you oppa? You just look so handsome today.” A female moa asked with excitement. “Of course you can! Call me Haru oppa quickly~” Haru smiled, showcasing her little canine teeth.
“Haru-ah can I tell you something that’s been weighing on my head?” A male moa asked, while nervously squeezing Haru’s hand for comfort. Haru nodded her head and fully paid attention to moa. “I’m gay.” The male moa nervously let out a shaken breath. Haru’s eyes widened, “congratulations! Don’t be nervous, not only me, but the whole group supports you fully.”
During a send off in the states Haru was moving to these two girls who had their arms linked together. “Friends?” Haru pointed at both of them. “No girlfriends, look!” They shared a peck in front of her. Haru had the biggest smile on her face and even hugged them.
Haru had a club scandal which didn’t affect her career at all. It actually boosted it because the club wasn’t just any club it was one in New York that had drag queens performing in it. Of course in Korea many male fans expressed their frustration and even a few female fans, but Haru posted a shady comment basically saying she’s glad those types of fans left the fandom.
ೃ࿔ experimenting with her looks like clothing, hair, makeup. She loves her short layered hair, but also loves growing it out to a little cunty bob or even getting long hair extensions. Loves having colorful makeup and adding gems on her face then switching it up and toning it down to an everyday simple makeup look, really depends on how she’s feeling. With fashion Haru LOVES not having a specific style always switching it up everyday, and when you have parents who model and create pieces you tend to carry those traits with you.
ೃ࿔ playing instruments and creating music. Back then Haru always wanted to be in a rock band since she would listen to Panic at the disco, my chemical romance, fall out boy, pierce the veil, and Green Day.
ೃ࿔ sports which isn’t favorite by many, but Haru really likes it because it reminds her of when she was younger plus she likes having muscle on her.
ೃ࿔ finds things that most people think are ugly cute even if it’s clothing pieces, makeup looks, and plushies
ೃ࿔ performing on stage is something she always had in her. Haru loves hearing the cheers and seeing the smiles on people’s faces when watching her perform. But what she loves the most is performing on a stage when she gets to do it with her members.
ೃ࿔ of course beside her family she truly and fully loves her members. Haru loves everything about them and truly thinks she can’t live without them nor continue with the harsh idol life without them. There were moments where she wanted to quit and just go home, but with their encouragement and them just being by her side to comfort her. It gave Haru the strength to continue this journey with all five of them
