Rhaenyra had tried for peace long before the war started, but Alicent decided to keep on maintaining the division within the court of KL, all because due to her own greed, ambition and pettiness, which she tried to mask as "duty and sacrifice". And then, when it is known Rhaenyra has the advantage after the red sowing, suddenly Alicent decides to try and sue for peace when it is faarrr too late.

I thought the Gladiolus flower would fit our Queen Rhaenyra nicely. I chose red gladiolus- despite red ones meaning romance and passion- because I thought it would fit her colors nicely. I also chose shiny black diamonds for her dress.
