HELLO TUMBLR I am once more here to remind you that there *are* white nationalists on the tumblr app (and fucking everywhere else on the damn internet) and they *are* using lolfunny memes to spread & normalize their message.

This meme, for instance, is assuredly being spread around due to the combination of a fandom reference + funny short shorts. It currently has 7,717 reblogs and I’m very willing to bet that the last, say, 5 people in the reblog chain from me did not notice that the man is wearing an explicitly Christian-nationalist shirt.

Take just a minute to look beyond the guy’s ass and remember the reality of the world we live in right now. With the chi-rho + gun + american flag iconography combo, the Christian nationalist message of this shirt is really not subtle.

White Nationalism is spreading like wildfire online right now and I am no longer asking, I am telling you that you HAVE TO BE AWARE OF IT because YOU are capable of spreading it too, and the negative effects of that don’t care if you didn’t realize.

And before anyone tries to come at me with the “ohhh but it might have been accidental! Jumblr is always overreacting. There must be an innocent explanation for this viral post” I will point out that OP’s name is Shirts That Go Hard.
