I currently do not have a therapist, so I am going to lay this out here. After all, who is going to judge me for this on Tumblr, of all sites?
I hate having breasts 95-98% of the time, and by hate I mean I want them gone. I wish I could have gone on puberty blockers so that they never developed in the first place, but that ship has sailed into the C-cup sea. In full honesty, sometimes I feel nauseous just feeling them on my body. They just don't really feel like me. It feels violating, like they are something that somebody sewed onto my body while I was sleeping and I just can't peel off.
And yet, I don't hate being a girl. I resonate more with "girl" than "woman." A lot of the time I feel like I am (what is probably) nonbinary. Other times, a large portion, I feel more like a "girl." Feminine and comfortable with having feminine bodily traits, but even then, I often feel discomfort with having breasts. I like sisterhood.
I have a binder, but it was gifted to me when I was 13 and unfortunately my cup size has grown so that it is a bit more of a painful fit. I would get another, but I am currently living with my parents until the next semester. They check packages and the mail in case anything is in need of refrigeration.
I would like to get top surgery, but that is super expensive and inaccessible where I am, and what if I regret it? What about that 2-5% of the time where I don't hate it? What if I just have internalized misogyny from church school and I just don't want to be seen as a potential mother? I never want children. Or is it that it's internalized transphobia, also from church school? Am I still worried deep down that I will burn in hell for all eternity?
The TV might be glowing, I was able to experiment with gender during quarantine, but not much. I can figure this out, but my OCD makes it so much harder. I probably won't even remember making this post after sleeping. I'll probably delete it because that's what usually happens when I feel more feminine again.
But while I'm this version of me, and awake, I'll write and post my piece.
