i made a post like this before but I can't find it now. so. I'll just redo it.

What's the first "big news story" you remember from when you were a kid?

It's something I love to ask mixed-aged groups sometimes because I think it's really interesting to see the responses. I've gotten answers from the Olympics of [whatever year] to Watergate to more recent stuff from my niblings.

My first news thing I remember is the OJ Simpson trial. I vaguely remember watching the news with my grandparents before that, but that's the first story I remember, in part because my second grade teacher had us go play so she could watch the verdict 😂

I remember walking down the street and seeing a sign protesting George W. Bush’s war on Iraq, so I think that.

I like the idea of most lasats being either very casual in their relationships, or very intense. If they know, they know. And they don't want to waste any time once they do.

Enter Kallus, who is having difficulties reconciling his guilt with his feelings for Zeb...

I think my favourite interpretation of Kallus and Zeb going to Lira San in the Rebels finale is that Kallus does know where they are when Zeb does the reveal.

I think his face when he sees the star cluster makes more sense if he already knows what it means. Otherwise, it is just another impressive visual display. The lasat haven't appeared yet, so why would he guess it had anything to with that?

And then, when the lasat do appear, he realises Zeb is finally ready to share this with him.
