“I haven’t seen you around lately.” Miles treads on carefully, clasping his hands together as he tries to look you in the face despite your constant rummaging.
“That’s funny.” You say dryly. “I could say the same thing about you.”
Miles looks to the side, laughing nervously at your words. “What do you mean?”
You sigh in annoyance, turning to look at him. “Miles, just break up with me already.”
“What? Why would I do that?” He looks offended as if this wasn’t his fault.
“Gwanda.” You pause, laughing quietly. “Sorry, no, Gwen.” You toss him his sketchbook, the pages conveniently landing on a page with her on it. “Honestly, Miles, how long ago did you stop loving me?”
“I never stopped.” He tried. His voice sounds like he’s trying to convince himself more than you. “You have to believe me.”
You looked down, holding your desk for stability. “If you had to choose who to save–” “Don’t make me choose.” You sigh at his answer. Of course, he couldn’t choose. “You don’t need to anymore. You answered my question already.”
His face falls in realization. He’s losing you. “Please don’t go.”

“You alright?” Miles asks, leaning against the doorframe of your room. You barely glance at him, but you see his appearance is messier than usual, probably out being the friendly neighborhood spiderman like he always is.
You’re surprised he’s even here, you almost wish he wasn’t but, Miles has always been perceptive of your emotions, or at least you’d believed he was till now.
“I’m okay.” You answer, cowering under your duvet. Anything to avoid looking at him. “Just a little under the weather s’all.”
“You sure?”
“I’m okay, miles. You don’t have to worry about me.” You repeat though it’s a little harsher than you intended. “Sorry, Miles I didn’t—” you rubbed your face tiredly, sighing as you finally turned to look at him. “Did you need something?”
He shakes his head and sets down a mug you failed to notice before, and sits on the edge of your bed. “Just wanted to check on you. Pops said you haven’t been out of your bed in a minute.”
You hum, picking at the balls of lint that stuck to your sheets. “Is that the only thing?”
“I missed you,” he mutters, rubbing the back of his neck; a telltale sign that he was nervous. “I haven’t seen you in a while and I, you know.”
“Yeah,” you chuckled under your breath, “I missed you too.”
An empty silence follows after you spoke, his leg bouncing, your bed shaking from it. He’s nervous, it’s obvious. And whatever he’s keeping inside is eating him from within.
“I might not be around a lot anymore.” He says, looking at you from the corner of his eye. “Some things are happening right now and I don’t want you to get involved.”
You don’t know what you were expecting but it was definitely not something like that.
“That’s never been a problem before,” you say, words slow as you moved to sit beside him. “I– um, did something happen?”
He shakes his head, pinching the bridge of his nose, “No, no. It’s not– nothing happened.” His tone makes it believable but you knew him like the back of your hand, he was lying. “I just want to keep you safe.”
At least that’s true.
“If you think that’s right, then fine.” You mumbled, raising your hands to his shoulders, pushing him to lay down. He looks at you with a bewildered expression, eyebrows pinched together and his mouth slightly agape. “Stay with me for tonight, please.”
“Okay,” he says, wrapping an arm around you to hold you close. “Um, I love you.”
“I know.” You muttered, burying your face in his chest. “I love you too.”

"Peter Parker." You said, holding the door open.
They looked at each other, then back at you. "Yes?"
You rub your head, a surprised expression coming to your face. "Shit! Okay, come in come in." You turn to Harley, waving your hand. "We've been trying to find you two for a while."
"Well, to be fair our addresses are old and not updated." The younger one said.
"And I don't remember living in this kind of New York. I just showed up." The older one said.
"No yeah, same for me."
You hum, nodding your head. So if they just showed up then that would have to be because of dimension shifting right? Was it a portal? A beam? Did they just poof away from their old lives and poof in a back alley? How long have they been here? Have they seen the video? Have they had their identity revealed in their universe? Are they-
"Babe." You look up at Harley, a goofy grin on his face. "You're getting too lost in thought." He places his hand on the small of your back. "I'll go take the kids up to level three with May okay?"
"Thanks, Harls."
The younger Peter looked around the elevator, "So what is this place exactly?"
"The Avengers Facility." You answer, a proud smile on your face
"Wait so your spiderman got to be in the avengers? Totally unfair!" He whined, stomping his foot on the floor.
"He declined the offer the first time my dad presented it. Then when there was a battle against Thanos a few years ago he became one last minute." Feeling your skin crawl, your hand reaches to the back of your neck, rubbing it lightly. "Ah but I'm sure you've heard of it? Or something similar happened on your earth?"
"Well we didn't have some big guy try to decimate us but we had this huge earthquake." The older one said, spreading his arms out to gesture the scale.
The younger nodded, pointing his finger in the air, "for us, we had a pandemic, totally shocked everyone."
You nod, leading them down to where Peter was, gesturing to them with a grin. "Peter meet Peters!"
"H-Holy shit!" He exclaimed, holding his head in awe. "You guys are Spiderman too? Or we'll spidermen. Uh, gosh this is so cool I never thought multi-verses were real! Well actually I did after I was lead into a false sense of security by someone who I thought would be my next mentor but that didn't end so well! But gee this is neat!"
The three of you blinked at his words, the other two spidermen's eyes filling with tears as they pulled the younger boy into a hug.
"You poor thing!" They cried. "You're so young too! Why god, why did you choose him he's still a baby!"
Staring at the two grown men sandwiching your little brother in between them while sobbing dramatically, you felt a sense of ease, despite the situation at hand it was a nice change of pace.
The led screen began flashing in front of you, the large icon presented, followed by a string of others behind it began to stress you out. You know they'll end up bombarding you with questions about the video, about how you'll fix it.
Dad, Your job is so hard.

Hey! Could you do headcanons for the avengers (I dont care who) with a reader who is really quiet and shy/smart at first but the once you get to know them they are a complete dumbass? Like 3 am random conversations, random energy bursts, blurting out stupid stuff, just crazy and funny in general.

When he first met you, he was attracted to your closed-off quiet personality, always wanting to get to know you so he could dissect you bit-by-bit.
Taking that into consideration, he preferred to have you by his side, you were a nice change of pace from the green monster within him, and the annoying sound of Tony’s blabbering.
If in any case you were to bump into him, you would only mumble a quiet hello, wave, and be off on your way.
But when he sees the side of you that he thinks no one else has, he’s even more attracted to your person.
In the midst of a “avengers night” where tony would gather everyone for a big sleepover, he, and everyone else in the room finally got to experience you for the very first time.
“Haha suck it losers, shy guy totally just kicked your asses!”
At your sudden burst, they turned quiet, blinking from one another, gaping like a fish out of water before your smile dropped and they decided to yell at each other.
“WHAT WAS THAT???”
Peter Parker
Jokes are his love language, really no shame when he says his favorite cheesy lines. I mean, have you seen his corny shirts?
He’s wanted to befriend you for a while, whenever he bumps into you at the compound he’s pouring out his heart on how cool he thinks your hero suit is, or how cool you are in general.
He always thought you hated him. This is only because you’ve only ever responded to Sam or Bucky, sometimes even Happy. But never him.
So when you two are sent on a mission, the cliche motel who only provided one bed, he’s stiff as a board and contemplating whether or not he should just make a hammock from his webs.
“Peter, are you still awake?” He’d mumble a quiet yes even though he was sleeping before you shook him. He doesn’t even register or connect the voice to you, to be honest, he thinks he’s hallucinating. “Did you know that dragonflies have shovel shaped penises?”
His eyes would be blown wide before he sits up quickly, turning his head at you before looking around the room. “They- they have what?” He heard you yeah but, he wants to hear your voice again.
“Dragonflies have shovel shaped penises.”
Scott Lang
Another connoisseur of jokes, no i do not know how to spell connoisseur, thank you autocorrect.
Anyways, Scott was used to the semi-closed off work partner, he worked with hope after all. And even though he respected the boundaries you had, he really wanted to be your friend.
Definitely the type of guy to cling to your shoulder, he’d turn tiny and sit on your shoulder, or if you had a tiny pocket on your shirt, he’d nestle himself in there.
He’d find you slumped against the couch at the compound, blowing air out of your mouth every ten seconds, a clear sign that you were bored.
He’d summon a bunch of ants to the table, and make them steal a worm so he can pretend he’s on a mechanical bull.
“Scott, that’s so cool! Do you think you can get a stag beetle? Or is that too much for the ants?”
Doesn’t respond which makes you worry but, he jumps for joy when he sees you laugh at the ants carrying an overturned beetle.
Shuri
I know she isn’t technically an avenger but she’s one of my favs!!
So you two would probably meet after the funeral, she would see you sitting alone, possibly near the dock, and try to befriend you.
Doesn’t take offense when you don’t respond verbally, a funeral just happened after all, it’s normal.
If you two were to ever cross paths again, it could be at the California branch of the technology lab, and she’d be surprised to see you there, nearly jamming the screen full of mathematical and scientific equations that even made her head hurt.
Would attempt to befriend you even more and if she ever passed that line, she would bring you to Wakanda to see technological advancements there.
In shock when you look down at the city in awe, jumping up and down like a kid in a candy store, though it does boost her ego when you start to question all the advancements she played a major role in.

PRE-RELATIONSHIP:
He bumps into you at visions academy a week after the fight with king pin, stumbling over his words when you begin talking to him.
After becoming friends with him, you’re seen by his and ganke’s side more often.
You fall asleep on his shoulder during a movie night, hugging his arm tightly and he feels like his heart is about to jump out of his chest. (And of course ganke teases him about it.)
He tells himself he’ll eventually tell you his feelings, silently hyping himself everytime he’s around you becomes he thinks this is the moment
He finally gained real courage to tell you on a cool autumn night, his hands are stuffed in his pockets, gaze set on you beside him while you tell a story.
He blurts, “I like you.” When you’re in the middle of a sentence, stopping you from completing your sentence.
Your eyes lock with his and he looks away almost immediately, sweating when your cold hand reaches up to turn his face towards you.
“I like you too.” You mutter, laughing at the bypasser yelling out a “whoop!”
DURING THE RELATIONSHIP
He’s always touching you, whether it be holding your hand, his thigh pressed against yours, hand on the small of your back, or arms simply touching while you walk through the halls of visions academy.
If he ever bring you to meet his parents, he’s the nervous one while you’re beginning conversation after conversation with his mother. You even get his dad to give a compliment or two.
He will never let you be cold. If he hears the slightest chatter of your teeth, or sees goosebumps rise onto your arms, he is throwing his jacket at you. Or, he’s wrapping his arms around you and pressing you against his chest, who knows? Maybe it’s both.
If he ever tells you he’s spiderman, I assume it’d be during an unprecedented and risky time. Per se he’s injured and you’re the only one he can rely on (minus ganke)
Alternatively, if he manages to run out of date ideas or gift ideas he suggest he takes you swinging. And when you end up on a rooftop and not a playground, let’s just say you’re more than a little confused.
Speaking of dates, naps are his guilty pleasure! Being spiderman and all has its repercussions and he gets tired a little too quickly in the morning. So he’s either napping on your thighs, or his head falls into your chest unceremoniously at lunch.
Miles would be such a caring boyfriend to you and would always always respect your boundaries. If he ever crosses the line on accident he would apologize every waking moment.
Overall I 11/10 recommend dating miles morales :))

"Spidermans-" the video glitched, "Spiderman's real name is Peter Parker!"
"What are we going to do about the video?" Harley asked, hastily walking beside you. "It's breaking news, it's trending, even if we take it down it's still going to be there forever."
Rubbing your head, you look down at the computer panel in front of you, tapping on the screen before swiping up to display the screen. "The video has already been seen by billions of people, every country has seen it. There's no way we can come up with a plan to dwindle it in time." You mutter. "Shit, why did this have to happen today of all days!"
Harley came up behind you, rubbing your shoulders. "We'll figure something out okay?"
You close your eyes, holding his hand. "Right. We'll just wait for Peter to call, or Happy to barge in and shout."
A ring throughout the building startled you, looking up at the security cameras and seeing Peter's hysterical face, clutching onto his backpack straps, May standing beside him with luggage.
"Harls do me a favor and clear level three's west end, bump security on that end, tell Friday I want alerts for any suspicious activity. After that meet us at sub-level two."
"Got it, babe." He said, running out of the room. You follow after him, running a hand through your hair.
"(Name) I don't know how he did it, please you gotta believe me I didn't do anything to him!" He cried, holding onto your forearms.
You hush him, rubbing his arms "Pete, I know you didn't do anything. We'll figure something out, I've contacted shield already but I don't know when they'd be coming okay?" You turn your head, "May, you can meet Harley on level three's west end, he's adding security there as we speak."
"Is something bad going to happen (Name)?"
You exhale, "I can't guarantee anything, May. I'm sorry I can't give you any information about this." You hold onto Peter's shoulder, "I'm gonna have to ask you to scrap any devices that can be tracked, I'll provide you with any new ones you may need but anything that's already in the system needs to be tossed so no one is capable of tracking you two got it?"
You pushed Peter towards the elevator, pressing your hand against the screen to scan your print. "It's going to be okay, Peter." He nods, letting out a shaky breath.
"And my friends?"
"Do you want to bring them down here to keep them safe?" You asked, glancing at him.
He whipped his head towards you, "You can do that for me?"
You lift your head, "If it'll make you more at ease, I can contact Happy, and send a few agents to get them."
He nodded, "Please, can you."
"Got it." You reply, walking out of the elevator when it opened. "I have something to show you."
You turn forward, pressing on the screen, raking your fingers through your hair. "Your friends have been picked up. But other than that, look." You projected the screen, "you ever seen them around?"
He squints at the screen, eyes widening at the names. "They're all Peter Parker?"
"Yeah, take a look." You swipe to the left, projecting the one that looked the oldest. "This guy, forty-five years old now, got a wife and everything. He got recognized for saving some woman named Gwen Stacey. His wife's name is Mary Jane." You swiped again, "This guy, thirty-seven, had a girlfriend in high school named Gwen Stacey, she died after getting caught in battle, and not soon after this Spider-Man caught the green goblin."
"So, what you're saying is that they're from different universes? Or, or that they're here, in New York."
You grip the tablet in your hands, "We don't know yet. We've tried finding them at previous addresses but nothings come up."
"Miss Stark, the guests have arrived."
"Ah thank you, Friday. Say what's taking Harley so long?"
"He's helping Miss Parker in making brownies."
You snort, pointing your finger to the elevator. "Let's get them situated before we continue this." You walk out of the elevator Peter tailing you as you wave your hands. "Hey."
"Oh my god, it's (Name) Stark."
"Oh my god, we're in the Avengers facility."
"Was Wanda Maximoff in here? Is she here!?"
You deadpan, shaking your head. "None of the other Avengers are here, just me, Iron Lad, and Spiderman."
"Who's Iron Lad?"
You hear jogging behind you, an arm slung around your shoulder. "That'd be me. I'm new."
"Okay, we'll do proper introductions later, Harls I'll meet you and Peter in sub-two alright?"
He nods, pushing Peter into the elevator. "Got it, babe." You pout at him, a cheeky grin on his face. "Don't be too harsh!"
"Harley!" He cackles as the doors close, sending you a thumbs up. "Excuse him. I need to ask you all some questions if that's okay. Follow me."
Ned stares in Awe, feeling the air around him. "I can smell Falcon."
You blink, opening a conference room door. "Don't make this weird Ned." He purses his lips, nodding. "Alright, first off, you were all with Peter during the trip right?" They nod. "And was anyone with him on the day of the attack?"
"I was." You turn towards Michelle, her hand raised in the air. "I found him on the bridge."
"Okay." You rub your chin. "I'm going to ask this once, and don't lie. Do any of you believe that Peter Parker, Spiderman, killed Quentin Beck?" It's silent for a moment, Ned and Michelle shaking their heads. "Don't treat this as a pity case alright? If you think he did it say it, if you think he didn't say it. There shouldn't be this much hesitation."
"Miss stark. There are two unidentified persons at the entrance."
"Put this place on lockdown Friday, notify miss Parker of the situation. Tell Harley to activate his suit and meet me at the entrance." You turn on your heel, "you kids will be alright, once this place goes on lockdown no one can get in."
"What's the situation?" Harley asks, tapping his chest piece as he walks beside you.
"Unidentified personnel at the entrance." You look through the doors, eyes widening in realization. "Wait," you open the doors, narrowing your eyes at the two figures. "Peter Parker?"
