FANART 4 FIC: You, On Your Good Days (and all the rest), by Flatcoke. (E) Completed.

My opinion about the work:

I loved the writing and the way the work shows both their perspectives of the events that accompany the two slowly falling in love. Everything was so smooth and natural and they are so so well written. The way Dean's condition was addressed and the things that are part of being neurodivergent in the day to day life is one of my favorite things of this fic. (That and Cas's obssession with Dean's butterfly tattoo)

Cried a little, I'll admit. I am a neurodivergent person with a neurotypical partner and I had a rough path accepting that I deserved someone this good (accepting that letting someone love me wasn't condemning that person to something less than what they deserved).

That being said: we are not our diagnoses and we deserve good. You deserve someone who makes you feel loved and cared for at all moments (on the good days and all the rest).

Drawing for the fic "I'm not the kind of guy who prays" by AngelOfWeirdness (me lol)

Writing this fanfic was more of an experiment then really a hobby of mine. I was curious to see how the creation process goes and if, even if Im not a writer, I could actually create a storyline that makes sense. Everything in this fic was a first time experience and it ended up being 5 chapters long with 19k words.

I am really happy that I decided to do that and I loved how it turned out, even if its not perfect! I am still thinking if I will post more or not. I have some rough drafts on my pockets.

My opinion about the work:

Its a narrative that brings interesting points about the real adult life as a queer neurodivergent coded person and a writing with a unique personality that captivates and carries you through the story. It's sharp, extremely well written and dangerously relatable.

Some years ago I was at the same place Cas is at the begining of the fic, rotting on a comfortable couch named misery, and had to get myself out of it with some of the same words that are written there. Maybe you need to listen to them too.

(PS: You will want to read the author notes. I find them to be, somethimes, one of the best parts of the respective chapter.)

My opinion about the work:

Featuring a lot of tension, bickering and the reformulation of some fabulous scenes from the series itself (including one of our favorites, the one in the alley), I find myself really liking it.

I'm not usually drawn to soulmates AU, but this short piece has a special kind of approach to the idea that just makes it very natural. It has a more informal style of writing that I, personally, am very fond of.

If you like creature Cas, this fic highlights his non-human aspects really well.

FANART 4 FIC: One Crowley is quite enough, thank you very much, by elle_bee_64 [T] Complete.

My opinion about the work:

It is a short crossover between Supernatural and Good Omens that made me really happy to read (though Good Omens IS one of my favorite shows, so maybe its just favoritism...). The characters are on point and the context of the accidental summoning of the wrong Crowley is really really funny.

It features drunk Castiel, Dean calling him angel (one of my favorite headcanons) and kisses late into the night. Loved and bookmarked.
