Posting it to warn you that I am taking more time to read your asks and fics because I am participating in a Reverse Bang (for destiel) so that's consuming a lot of my time.

What are your favorite types of fics to read and make art of?

That's a really interesting question.

I don't know if I will have the hability to comunicate it well, but I would say it is the kind of works that explores certain parts of the character that clearly have a particular connection with the author.

It is really fascinating to read and, while still seeing the character itself, understand a side of their personality that is so well described and so deeply personal that the author must see themselves on them. It's like getting to know someone new, but from the same old characters I have read about innumerous times.

Now, a much more simple answer: I like to draw vulnerable Dean. It is a character that I like a lot (lets not talk about the part that I relate to him) and I like the whole "I spent my whole life being strong so now I don't know how to let myself enjoy being the one that is on the receiving end of things". So I like works in which Dean let Cas love him, etc.

FANART 4 FIC: One Crowley is quite enough, thank you very much, by elle_bee_64 [T] Complete.

My opinion about the work:

It is a short crossover between Supernatural and Good Omens that made me really happy to read (though Good Omens IS one of my favorite shows, so maybe its just favoritism...). The characters are on point and the context of the accidental summoning of the wrong Crowley is really really funny.

It features drunk Castiel, Dean calling him angel (one of my favorite headcanons) and kisses late into the night. Loved and bookmarked.

I have absolutely no clue of what that means.

I have a vague memory of reading this "bang" or "big bang" in some tags on AO3 before, but other than that I have no idea of what this is.

And then I opened this link and got even more confused the more I read (but that could just be the fact that have dislexia and horrible interpretation when it comes to certain fonts and writing patterns).

I did understand that it has something to do with discord and social interactions and events. That scared me just by reading, lol. I would like to understand exacly what it is before I have any thoughts on it, though. I will do research.

FANART 4 FIC: five breathless seconds, by bethmints [M] Complete. ( @bethmints )

My opinion about the work:

Featuring a lot of tension, bickering and the reformulation of some fabulous scenes from the series itself (including one of our favorites, the one in the alley), I find myself really liking it.

I'm not usually drawn to soulmates AU, but this short piece has a special kind of approach to the idea that just makes it very natural. It has a more informal style of writing that I, personally, am very fond of.

If you like creature Cas, this fic highlights his non-human aspects really well.

(edt: The rose is just symbolic btw (although I do think Cas would literally give him flowers). The point is that from Dean's perspective Cas is probably hiding a weapon, that's why Dean looks frozen and tense. Dean can't really comprehend what else a man would hold behind his back approaching him if not a weapon, what intention would anyone have towards him other than violence. But also that's artist's intention solely Cas also would literally give Dean a rose in the middle of a hunt he has his dense moments lmao)

It is usually not my kind of read, but I found my eyes burning a little at the end of it. The work is short, but it's flawless in comunicating the important message that it contains. You will probably find the piece more relatable if you have the presence of a disabled person in your life.

Also, I found your art of the hand marks on Dean's butt earlier and loved it. Cas' self satisfied look was SO GOOD. It just made the piece that much better.

My opinion about the work:

Its a narrative that brings interesting points about the real adult life as a queer neurodivergent coded person and a writing with a unique personality that captivates and carries you through the story. It's sharp, extremely well written and dangerously relatable.

Some years ago I was at the same place Cas is at the begining of the fic, rotting on a comfortable couch named misery, and had to get myself out of it with some of the same words that are written there. Maybe you need to listen to them too.

(PS: You will want to read the author notes. I find them to be, somethimes, one of the best parts of the respective chapter.)

I got no asks for fanarts yet, but im still hoping writers will find my blog! If you also just likes a fic very much and want to recommend, and I read and like it, it can turn out to be an art for a post! (+ a good fic recommendation lol)

Drawing for the fic "I'm not the kind of guy who prays" by AngelOfWeirdness (me lol)

Writing this fanfic was more of an experiment then really a hobby of mine. I was curious to see how the creation process goes and if, even if Im not a writer, I could actually create a storyline that makes sense. Everything in this fic was a first time experience and it ended up being 5 chapters long with 19k words.

I am really happy that I decided to do that and I loved how it turned out, even if its not perfect! I am still thinking if I will post more or not. I have some rough drafts on my pockets.
