Citykings / ghostshunt / bunnyphobic really fell off in terms of design quality. It always feels like they’re only selling sketches or really messy designs that don’t make much sense at all. I miss their older work because it felt like they actually put effort into it.

I never knew and seeing there apology tucked away on deviantart (which is purely by chance, I dont check dA often) and unknowingly supporting that behavior for years makes me sick as a aro/ace. they say they've changed but I dont think I want to continue to support them going forward but I still like their art 😥

this actually goes the other way too. as someone who does commissions and adopts, it makes me so uncomfy when my clients try to act like they're my friend just because they've commed me a lot or bought more than one adopt from me before;; it feels parasocial, like, i don't know you so why are you dming me every other day when the only time we talked before was me doing work for you...

both clients and creators should have professional relationships, none of that weird trying to be friends crap as some way to get something from the other (whether it be money or free stuff). -🃏

Not to be insane or anything but in my unprofessional opinion I think that if it can typically take over 9 months to obtain a character of a closed species, you shouldn't be able to autobuy and then immediately resell those characters. I've seen this happening more and more lately with a specific species fandom I was in, where someone will get their MYO slot, give it a basic design with little to no thought put into it, and then immediately resell it in order to buy a different character made by a well known designer.

I guess I just wish there was a ban or cooldown period regarding resales of recently-created characters of this species. It hurts to watch these chars being resold and then discarded when they're not needed from the perspective of someone who has a lot of attachment to all of the chars I own.

This is a huge problem in a few big cs. Look at terraliens, people will get myos and just keep them around as trade fodder.
