i’m actually a HUGE angst babe but i also really adore solid friendships ... while i do want the guy who is a jerk because she broke up with him, who maybe makes dumbass comments when she’s around a girl she has a crush on and makes her embarrassed to have a crush on a girl, i would also love the guy to have been totally okay with it and be the one to tell her, straight out, that she might be a lesbian and that it’s something to explore if she wants to be happy. i’ll take either or.

✿✿✿ … let me just copy and paste my post before this one: ophelia is still very much new to the city, even though she has been here for a year already. she’s so much of a momma’s girl that she didn’t want to leave home which explains why she’s a little older than a typical newcomer, having arrived at 20 instead of 18. her mother actually forced her out, concerned that her daughter’s lack of experience will put ophelia in the same shoes persephone had been at that age.
