Rant: Ok so consider this, I replace gluttony with someone else who might fit, lets say “Heather Duke” whos “hungry” for power, now martha is in envy where she doesnt belong, honestly she doesnt fit into any of the sins because shes a pure and good charachter and I worked around the fact that she didnt fit in anywhere, and another thing, this isnt about body shaming and as a plus sized/over weight/fat person I hate the stigma around plus size people being able to like eating,its like anytime food and fat are mentioned people automatically judge, its food, everyone loves eating unless you have an eating disorder which makes you shy away from it, eating a lot is not associated and should not be assiciated with body type especially when it wouldnt have been a problem had the character been skinny, plus size people eat and plus size people can enjoy eating by being offended that I associated her with food and in return not being offended if it were a skinny character is body shaming in itself by adding to the stigma that plus size people like to eat,and I get theres a problem with this over used theme and I was hesitant about putting her in here, but this post is personal to me and I created it with my own reasoning and I chose to say “Martha is Gluttony” not because shes plus size but because that was the only sin left after I worked around her, being plus size is not a problem eating is not a problem Martha is beautiful and her enjoying eating (which she portrays in the movie which my blog covers) is not a problem thank you
