The knife spun upwards into the air; the small metal knife reached dangerously close to the ceiling before gravity forced it back into her hands. Whilst others were training, Calliope was merely wasting her time. She’d learn better than to show off her many years of training in front of these people and well, she didn’t need to anyway. She wasn’t going to utilize her skills when she didn’t even want to fight for her own life. She laid on her back against a small bench in the room, and continued to throw the knife in the air. She almost smiled when one of them was stuck on the ceiling, wondering what could happen if she died before she even reached the Games. But the Capitol would never allow that, the group of tributes and former victors were too important for their…entertainment. She reached down for another knife by the bench, and aimed at the ceiling with more force this time. The second knife almost slipped through her hand when the sound of footsteps pulled her out of her own thoughts.
"What do you want?" Callie didn’t even bother taking a look at whoever that intruded her space, before throwing the knife back in the air again.
He hadn't been paying attention as he wandered around the training center, he was mostly just trying to avoid people. There were too many this year if you were to ask him. This place was too crowded so when he walked close enough to someone for them to speak to him, he wasn't too surprised. Porter turned his attention to the girl from Two taking in what she was doing, before shaking his head.
"Careful. If you start getting those stuck up in the ceiling eventually people aren't going to have any knives to practice with." It was almost a challenge, or an idea to pass the time. Anyone who still needed practice with knives, or any weapons likely didn't have a hope of getting out of the Arena anyway.
