Hereâs the scoop about Portside Stories:
Hey, folks. I want to start by thanking all of you for reading, enjoying, and spreading my work. It means so much to me, and Iâve gone places in the last year that I never thought I could have gone because of it. I actually have what you could theoretically call a âcareerâ because of you!
With that said, I owe you a frank explanation about whatâs going on. See, when I started this comic, I never intended it to last more than a few months. Originally, Portside Stories was meant to be a series of small, self-contained stories -- hence the plural in the title! But when the comic kinda blew up beyond any of my expectations, I ended up changing and extending the story over and over... and now, Iâm left with something that, honestly, Iâm not sure I want to continue in its current state. I love these characters and this setting, but I donât like where things have been going with it.
And at the same time, I have a different, much bigger webcomic project looming on the horizon that I desperately want to get to which Iâll talk about in a second. But listen -- thereâs no way I can update two webcomics at the same time. So, after a lot of bellyaching... Iâve decided that I wonât be continuing Portside Stories in its current form.
I still plan to create content for Portside Stories, but rather than a regularly-updating comic, it will probably become something more periodic, featuring smaller, more self-contained shorts! I still havenât decided what Iâll do with it, but whatever happens, youâll all know.
Iâm super sorry to everyone whoâll be disappointed to hear all this. But Iâm also super excited to show you all my next comic project:
Goodbye to Halos is the title of my next webcomic, and I think itâs gonna be a blast! Itâs an action/fantasy heroâs tale with an entire cast of queer and trans characters! Thereâs gonna be hugs, thereâs gonna be gender stuff, thereâs gonna be gay demon makeouts, and thereâs gonna be over-the-top action!
And itâs LIVE RIGHT NOW!!
Finally... thanks again to everyone who reads and supports my work. Iâm gonna try and make it worth your while.
