My name is Kody (right), and my idiot girlfriend is Sara (left). We are poor ass college students and are terrible at being sentimental. However…

We are so madly in love in the oddest of ways. We met about four years ago on Tumblr and were pretty fast friends. After being out of touch for a while, we got back in the habit of messaging one another and have been Skyping almost every day for the past two years. We’ve been wanting to meet up for forever, but distance hasn’t been kind to us. 3000 miles separate us. I live in Florida and have a physical disability, so travelling is a huge deal for me even without the expense of it. As I am still in school and jobless, I don’t have the finances to drive a car or the ability to rent one. Sara is supporting herself in Washington by working crazy hours, and is also attending college. We’re both doing our best to save, but it just isn’t enough.

We aren’t asking for much; just enough to fly her over to see me for a week or so, giving me the ability to finally hold the girl I love and have her be able to hold my hand in person.

She’s my moose queen, and I’m hers.

We just want to be able to finally have a moderately functional relationship.

So I did a thing. I’m not really expecting anyone to donate, but it’d be really cool if you did. I set up reward levels. Depending on the amount you donate, I’ll paint you something in return. The first picture is a Big Hero 6/Honey Lemon-inspired cupcake I’m working on. The second is a voodoo doll version of Cassandra Pentaghast from the Dragon Age video game series. I’m willing to paint whichever pop culture-inspired cupcake or doll you want on either small or medium canvas. If you aren’t able to donate, even a reblog would be greatly appreciated.
