Shadow jumped back as the fur color began changing, the hedgehog getting into a defensive stance. 

"I thought I sensed something evil in her. I’m assuming that’s you?"

"Leave her. Now.”

"Even if I WANTED to do that...I can't! If I were somehow ABLE to leave...then that pansy would die. And though I've tried all I could, I can't leave her. It's impossible for me to do.

Kneeling down near the rabbit, Shadow replied. “Who comes out?”

Yin's pupils shrank. Her fur began turning pure white and she threw back her head, letting loose a wild cackle. Her blue eyes shifted to orange, and turned black where the whites should be. Purple markings formed around her eyes.

...Eve had taken over.

She stared at the hedgehog and flashed him a wicked grin. "Me. She was talking about me, moron!"

"I knew it." Said the hedgehog as he crossed his arms. "There’s something off about you. Something inside of you. What is it?"

Almost immediately the black and red hedgehog sensed something was off about this one. As if something in them was fighting to get out.

Something evil.

"I-I was just...looking around. I didn't even know anyone else was here, I'm sorry!" The nervous rabbit stuttered out and winced. She shook her head, "No, stop it, I don't--" She blinked a few times and bit her lip. She hoped he hadn't heard that last part.

"I-it’s my f-fault….because I-I’m so w-weak…" His eye glossed over, as if remembering something; "He s-said I deserved i-it….for t-trusting you. For t-trying so h-hard to be friends w-with you…"

His voice broke. "H-he said I h-had to learn a l-lesson…P-pay the p-price!"

"Yang and I..." Yin flinched, pausing. Saying her brother's name was painful. "...should have trusted you. But we were foolish and stupid, and judged you based on the past. 

...but that's just it. The past." She glanced at Oliver and cringed, "I-I'm so sorry for...for what you went through. I-I really want to help you, though..."

Yuck smiled cruelly at Yin, hands glowing with fire. "Aw, what's wrong, Yin? What are you doing all by yourself? You could run into trouble all by yourself..." He laughed.

Yin flinched, hearing Yuck. She slowly turned to face him, Woo Foo Orbs forming in her hands. Yeah…this definitely wasn’t Oliver. This was all Yuck. Another alternate? 

"…I didn’t think I’d run into you again…” She muttered, "Why do YOU care if I’m all by myself?"

The Foo Orb hit Yuck, making him fall face-first on the floor. He tried to get off but the lasso snagged him. Beside himself with sheer anger, he screamed and bit the air, looking desperately for Yin to rip her face off.

"I’LL KILL YOU, YOU HEAR ME!? I’LL MAKE YOU WISH YOU HAD DIED WITH YOUR BROTHER WHEN I’M DONE WITH YOU!"

Yin's face paled at his words. The lasso tightened a little as tears trickled down her cheeks. She glared at Yuck, voice trembling. "N-NO! I-I'm not...I'm not ready to die! I'm NOT READY, I-I'M NOT--" 

And suddenly, her fur turned white. Her eyes changed to black and orange, black markings appearing around her eyes. Her teeth sharpened. Ahhh, yes. Eve took over. 

She stared at Yuck for a moment, looking him over before grinning widely. "I don't think I've met you, before! You've got a mean temper on you. I'm Eve. I'm the one who killed that pansy's brother and father."

Yuck smiled cruelly at Yin, hands glowing with fire. "Aw, what's wrong, Yin? What are you doing all by yourself? You could run into trouble all by yourself..." He laughed.

But this time, Yuck was too shocked to react. The last thing he saw were blue flames engulfing his vision before he felt a sharp burning sensation in his eyes. Screaming, he got off Yin and fell to his knees; “AAAH! My eyes! What the hell did you do, you bitch!?”

Snarling, he clawed the air around him and scrambled to find Yin.

Yin quickly stumbled back, forming an energy lasso in one hand, a Woo Foo Orb in the other. She aimed the Orb at Yuck and threw it, before throwing the lasso at the green rabbit, as well, hoping it'd snag him. 

"Y-you need to stop. Stop...y-you should just...l-leave me alone. Leave. Me. ALONE."

"S-sorry? B-but it w-wasn’t your f-fault!" His ears drooped and his eye dulled. "I-it was my f-fault…it w-was my punishment, but I t-thought….I d-didn’t k-know it w-was that bad…"

He hugged his knees closer to his chest. "It’s a-all my fault….i-it’s always m-my fault…"

"Y-your fault...? How is it your fault? Why...why were you punished? For what?" Yin was curious. "Oliver, please. Y-you can tell me. I won't judge you, okay? You're a good person." 

She believed he was a good person. Before, he wasn't, but...now, he was. She thought he was. Yin rubbed the back of her head, "You didn't deserve to have your eye like that. You didn't deserve punishment. T-that was a pretty harsh punishment, Oliver..."
