so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post
…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
likes charge reblogs cast, folks, this is the good luck post
i need all the help i can get for finals
Hey so
the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.
So you know.
This might be the real one, y’all.
Woke up to an email asking me about a job interview. 🥺🙏
trying to reblog this again for good luck

i honestly, honestly, do not know if people like me or not. i don’t know if people want me around or if i want them to want me around. i don’t know how to feel when my friend texts me to check in on me after i have ignored them for more than a month. does she really mean it? that she misses me and she wants to see me? is she doing it out of some sort of obligation? does my other friend hate me? do they talk to each other about how much they’re annoyed by me? do they miss me at all? would they care if i was gone? somehow the text doesn’t feel real to me. it feels like some sort of weird trick. and how do i even respond? how do i tell them that i’m sick and unlovable and feel as though no one should love me? how do i explain that i simply could not reply, that i am so incredibly pathetic that i couldn’t deal with the simple awkwardness that ive thought a lot about in my head that might come if i text back? that i feel like they hate me and don’t want me to respond, and that they feel much happier without me? how do i tell them that i don’t even know why i pulled away in the first place? that i don’t even have a good reason or excuse? that i just did and i don’t know how to go back to before.
i think about you. all the time. i don’t know who you are, or where you are, or what you look like. but you are kind and sweet to me. you spend days with me, nights with me, get along with my parents and make my sister laugh. you might brush the annoying hair that sticks to my forehead, with a gentleness i’ve never known, and hold me when my mind turns on me. but most of all, you stare at me so intensely — so much so that i feel it’s a miracle. the thought of you is a luxurious comfort i regularly treat myself to.
but far too often, ration wins out, and the illusion of you dissipates. as the truth is i am scared. scared that i will never find you. you that understands me. you that knows me, truly knows me. you whose eyes can look, past all of the horrid parts, and see something worth loving.
far less often, ration wins out again. that i will never let you in. that whenever i meet you i will not know it. i will feel, like i do with everyone that i am a stranger, never to be truly known. that i will love you so much, and i will never say it, or act on it, or act as though i do. or that maybe one day i get fixed and i will and you won’t love me back, and my greatest fear will be confirmed.

the feeling of the last week or so…
How can earth and heavens contain your vastness? // It is only this heart of mine that can accommodate you.

help amany’s family escape gaza’s hardships — hi all, amany is the dear friend of one of my friends. they have been trying to organize her escape with her family for over a year now but it is so difficult and so expensive. amany, her husband, and their two children have been displaced several times now. her daughter has a severe case of hepatitis and no access to medical treatment. they have lost their home and have narrowly escaped being killed by israeli airstrikes. they are still only at $13,809/45,000 and even the smallest donations help them get a little closer to safety. here is a youtube video that amany made about a year ago and there is more information about her family in the gofundme link. please donate and share <3
Until my heart stops beating for the last time,
Only then, perhaps, I would stop loving you.
Perhaps.

I've been told that people in the army do more by 7:00 AM than I do in an entire day.
but if I wake at 6:59 AM and turn to you to trace the outline of your lips with mine,
I will have done enough and killed no one in the process.
-- 6:59 AM by Shane Koyczan
Even if it is to give me grief
even if it is to break my heart, Come.
Come, even if it is just to leave me once more. Just come.
-- Ahmad Faraz
I think too deeply about everything. I still don't know if that allows me to see more of the world, or less of it.
