I really hate when people use the term “parasocial” and “obsessive” and “stalker” when really all they’re experiencing is a week long hyperfixation on someone and their stalking just includes having their Tumblr notifs on.

Actually be obsessive for months and years on end, actually stalk them. Treat them as if they’re the only thing that makes you whole and gives you a purpose. Still think about them even when you don’t speak to them, even when your time together has supposedly come to an end. Thats obsession. It’s not clinging to someone cool you see and then moving on to the next thing when that person leaves or changes.
