I'm going to be honest I started scrolling twitter just out of boredom maybe a week ago (going through a rough patch) and the self harm community is so massive on there now that it's leaking into the osc more than ever and I really hate that. I know it seems like a big ask but all of you need to reconsider hanging out with/following people that think that shit is cute, cool, funny, etc.
One thing I know for a fact is that when you're a teen/young adult you tolerate a lot of toxic bullshit and think you're fine and then you realize how much it affected you later. To be frank a lot of it can be avoided by just doing something else with your time or at least being more wary about who you decide to befriend/follow online.
If you have a friend who encourages this behavior they are not in a good head space and you obviously shouldn't listen to them. Try not to be manipulated by peoples' excuses and don't be intimidated by empty threats of suicide. If there is nothing you can do and you feel like YOU are in danger/trapped and someone will hurt you or blame you for being hurt you need to slowly become inactive. Have a busy life or lie about having a busy life.
Over-all my best advice is to stop using twitter at all because it is such a lost cause. There is genuinely nothing for you there anymore besides people that get paid to make your life worse and "fellow artists" that want to see you fail. Discord is even worse in a lot of ways.
And while I can't and will not attempt to help you work through your personal problems in the replies, hopefully reading this helps somebody somehow
