For the Potter Heads: Created using a vintage ceramic mold with low-fire slip. Bisque-fired to Cone 05. The bisqueware was then painted with a variety of Mayco and Amaco underglazes, topped off with a zinc-free clear glaze. The final piece was fired to Cone 06 in my home studio.

Potter heads: Sculpted low-fire clay body. The bugs are glazed with Mayco and Amaco underglazes and a zinc-free clear glaze. The base is Jungle Gems Masquerade.

hersheys kiss snail 🐌 hand sculpted ceramic snail. The little guy’s body is Wildfire glaze. The hershey kiss is covered with a light grey Mayco underglaze, finished with a zinc- free clear glaze. I ultimately decided to glue an old hershey kiss wrapper to improve the look. I love him 🧡
