“Yeah, my body has a lot of perks,” he said before inhaling from the stick. Blowing it out softly. He was being careful not to say what he was. There were many people who knew what a Noah was… But he was quite… different than the other Noahs.. ever since he met Allen Walker. That man changed him up pretty good. To the point he’d destroy the innocence, but leave his opponent alive. He still did his job. Destroying innocence.
“Ah, that’s what Allen and I do. When we get separated we meet up some place else. That’s what’s happening now. I’m meeting him in the next town over and waiting there. But eh, I don’t feel like walking in the dark with an empty stomach and tired,” he sighed. “I think I’ll probably take you up on your offer! Though, you know at your age, you’re pretty brave. Going into a forest plagued with monsters.”
Just as he spoke, a ‘monster’ emerged from the trees. It was dark and humanoid, a level 3 akuma easily. It eyed the young boy and didn’t seem to notice Tyki. “Ah, prey~,” the demon purred, nearing closer. Tyki watched with a blank face and let out a loud clearing of the throat.
The akuma looked over with a growl, and then seemed to panic. Seemed very worried he DARED growl at a Noah. “I’m so sorry Lord Mikk!” the akuma said with worry, bowing over and over again. “I didn’t know you’d be here!”
“Well, I am. I am escorting this child to the other side with me… You should know I don’t approve of mindless killing of children,” Tyki rumbled with a scowl. The akuma gulped down the lump in his throat, now seeming scared, and didn’t reply. “Now then.. just.. leave. Tell the others to leave me alone.. and if you see Allen Walker, tell him where I went and meet me there.”
All of this.. probably told the young boy what he was and who he was.. as well as using the familiar name of Allen Walker. He turned his head and wore a sheepish smile as the akuma stalked off. “Yeah, I didn’t mention it before, but I’m known as a Noah. I have control over these monsters known as akuma.”
His head perked up with Allen’s name, wondering if it was the same Allen he knew? It probably wasn’t, what were the chances of that happening? Still though, even just the thought of Allen made him feel a little bit upset, it had been a while since the two had crossed paths. He chuckled when Tyki finished talking, the blue haired child definitely understood what it felt like to be travelling on an empty stomach. “ Yeah! I know that! ” He replied with a smile. “ I can fight ‘em though! So ya don’t have t’ worry Monsieur. ”
That was when he heard a voice coming from in front of them, he turned his head in a rush, staring at it for a moment. He tried his best to stay calm, taking deep breaths. Its voice was big, daring in the small boy’s mind as it called him ‘ pray ’. After a moment, he realized ---- it was a level three, it looked exactly how his Master had explained it to him. This was above the level of akuma that he could defeat, what could they do? He jumped a little when Tyki cleared his throat, turning to look at him, just about to tell him to be quiet when the gray - skinned man continued speaking.
His head tilted as the akuma who was seemingly confident just a moment before, suddenly seemed scared. Wait. ‘ Lord Mikk, ’ was what it had said, did that mean what Timothy thought? He shook his head, that couldn’t be right, why would a Noah knowingly protect a human? Even more so, why would he protect and exorcist?
He swallowed the lump in his throat, wondering what he should do from here. On one hand, he was a Noah ( a known enemy of the Order ), but on the other, Tyki seemed different ---- he protected him. His words had also confirmed it, it was the same Allen they were talking about, that meant it had to be okay, right? “ You’re meeting Allen? Like, my Allen? ” Of course he’d heard and understood everything the Noah had said, but this truly did feel like the most important thing to him. Since who knew the last time Timothy had actually seen him.
