Pit Stop wasn’t too far from the gym, and it had been a walk Darcy made more than once before heading out to a shift. He’d exhaust himself in order to not snap so quickly at the people whose tones and mannerisms after a drunken night resembled ones from his youth, watering down any means to act on the trigger.
“Maybe you have, but can a feeling alone carry you to victory?” His smirk was contagious, his energy alone giving Bellamy the perfect feeling to capitalize on and mirror back to him. The blonde was freshly showered after her workout, thankful she had enough time to get her appearance together before bumping into the handsome stranger again. It was perfect timing, her feet carrying her to the exit and starting the walk to where she’d met him in the first place.
