Nick Knight’s newly released images, taken backstage at Alexander McQueen’s Black show back in London in 2004, offer an ultra-high definition view at McQueen’s garments. The charismatic photos had been taken minutes before the spectacle’s beginning. The show itself, consisted of McQueen’s most iconic and most celebrated designs and sets, with models like Naomi Campbell, Lily Cole or Kate Moss adorning pieces from Voss, The Golden Shower, Supercalifragilistic and The Overlook amongst many others.
