The problem with project blogs is ... that the project is always more important than the blog. Getting the machines and the workshop to the state shown here (while keeping to have a good time too) was time- and energy consuming enough.

The whole Soneva Fushi / Eydhafushi / Maldives experience was a blast. Thanks so much to Gordon and all other lovely colleagues of Soneva Fushi. We miss you. We wish the Precious Plastic Maldives project a great future!

Studio Visit; I went to Dave and got way more than a lousy patch!

Here will be a little report about my visit to Dave Hakkens’ studio.

I went to the International School The Hague to meet a group of students who built their own working version of Dave’s shredder.

It was great fun talking to this great team.

I found 60 students who went to the Maldives to save the world and today I met 4 of them, which was great!

Here will be a little report of my visit to the Faculty of Architecture of TU Delft, where I visited four students who keep the Maldives Matter design project running.

Yay, it’s true, in 2 months we’re really going to the Maldives to save the world!

We will be there fore 3 months, doing a sustainable, circular design project at  Soneva Fushi resort (Baa Atoll). Not bad ;) ... It has something to do with Dave Hakkens’ Precious Plastic initiative.
