I think it would be really interesting to study the phenomenon of annoyingness and what makes some people find other people annoying. from a sociological, psychological, or even philosophical perspective. it's such a core aspect of interpersonal dynamics but i can't find any academic writing on it.
i am supposed to track what I eat for 3 days to show the dietician but today the tim hortons employee gave me a ton of free timbits and then there was a sale on starfruit and i got home at midnight and then had to eat. i don't think this is representative of my daily dinner routine but i also don't have a daily dinner routine so who knows.
I think when you correctly identify a trauma that is the base of a woe of yours it should just disappear. It should be like "aaahh. you got me" and vanish and leave 100 dollars behind
Any plans for the weekend?

AU: President Obama falls for part white house intern part rockstar Harry Styles. Obama surprises Harry in the audience of one of his shows and the affair blossoms from there.
a lot of people who claim to support 100% bodily autonomy all the time for everyone would still find it wrong for a professional tattooist to sell their services to drunk people. and getting a bad tattoo really is not that serious in the grand scope of things someone can do / have done to their body.
my pet peeve is when people frame absolute bodily autonomy and absolute drug deregulation as the most ideologically pure leftist positions. when taken to their extreme, these are libertarian positions. a lot of the current policies are terrible, but most leftists would agree that there still has to be some government regulation (e.g. making it illegal to market high risk plastic surgery to people with body dysmorphia; requiring pharmaceutical companies to disclose risks) to prevent exploitation and people making decisions they do not have sufficient understanding to consent to. and this is where a lot the difficulty comes in legally and ethically, because people have highly varied definitions of what constitutes exploitation and understanding and tend to take their personal definitions for granted.
