From Sunday, August 10th, to Saturday, August 16th, celebrate all things queer and Jane / Nanna related.

Join us in creating works of art, fanfiction, edits, headcanon lists, cosplay, etc. Anyone can contribute, and you can do the whole week, or a single day.

Day 1: August 10th: Pride: Display Jane’s pride through the flags, symbols and colours of your headcanons.

Day 2: August 11th: Hobbies and Interests: Showcase Jane’s likes, interests and hobbies through a queer lens. Baking a rainbow cake? Dressing as an inscrutable French detective? Something to do with pranks, comedy, Problem Sleuth or even Pony Pals!

Day 3: August 12th: Family: Jane or Nanna with Dad, Jade, John/June. Maybe also the Peixes. Sharing in their pride or supporting one another. No incest/ectocest please.

Day 4: August 13th: Ship or No Ship: Romantic, queerplatonic, platonic, or Jane proudly declaring being aro and/or ace.

Day 5: August 14th: Wildcard Day: Anything involving Jane Crocker being queer!

Day 6: August 15th: Alternate Universe: Any AU you desire, whilst still showcasing Jane’s queerness. Kidswap, speciesswap, crossover, whatever.

Day 7: August 16th: That’s So Gender (or not): Showcase any gender, or lack thereof featuring Jane or Nanna. Choose your own headcanon, or perhaps a gender you rarely see or think would just be neat.

i'd like to add that the shadow color isnt necessarily dictated entirely by the primary light source, but the bounce light! so for the example of a sunny environment, the reason the shadows are blue are because of the light from the blue sky reflects across the environment; but, if the character were to be under tree cover, the bounce light would be coming from the leaves and thus the shadow would look greener.

Drunk friend comes over

In this normal reality where the game is not unfolding she was in the city partying with her girls and after they left she realized this was the only address she knows nearby. Mom drunkenly stumbles up the many flights of stairs to the strider's apartment. It's the middle of the night but she knows all the guys do is stay up on their computers (she knows this because she sees them online when she too is up all night on her phone) so they will be awake.

Bro answers the door and Mom immediately starts blabbering about what a hectic night she's had and she needs a place to crash, k? No way. No sirree. Drunk woman -> staying in my one bedroom apartment? Not happening. But bro isn't a very talkative fella so he's just thinking that as she forces her way into the livingroom/kitchen of this garbage apartment. She's talking about something and her purse slips off her shoulder at some point so Bro aimlessly picks it up as he trails behind. Whatever she's saying doesn't make a ton of sense but Bro mightve just been missing it since he's formulating a plan to remove the enemy from his base.

She leans on him for support, considering laying down on the couch, voicing the desire to rest, only for Bro to usher her down the hall after some hesitation. The couch is his bed, if you remember right from my previous posts, and he's cultivating a pile of dishes nearby. Not like mom has noticed but she'd definitely remark so Bro decides to avoid that crisis all together and shepherds her to Dave's room, where he finally breaks his silence and directs dave to kick rocks.

What the fuck? Why me? Dave doesnt argue so much as he complains. He gets up from his computer despite his bemoaning and sluggishly wanders toward the doorway, folding his arms. After watching Mom clamber into Dave's bed and make herself at home without more than a "thanksyourthebestgoodniiiight" slurred into the pillow, Bro eventually elaborates that he doesn't like it either but they would be responsible if she were struck by a car after they kick her out. This realization settles and they are both defeated as they set off to somehow arrange the livingroom into a livable space.

I'm sure this is all under a veil of irony, but even so people need to get his irony right. I hate the gymbro side of the internet because a lot of it is extremely toxic but I once saw a gymbro meme that was like “befriending the local trans guy so I can steal his testosterone” and I think that’s hilarious and a great plot idea for a movie. Deeply unhappy bigoted red pill meathead gym rat starts trying to befriend a trans man to steal his testosterone and ends up genuinely clicking with him and going on a journey of self discovery that either ends in the protag realizing he’s gay and in love with his friend or transitioning to a woman.

Climax of the movie occurs after they go on a fun adventure together and the protagonist finally feels like they’ve made a real friend for the first time in their life and it comes out that they initially tried to get close to the trans man to steal his testosterone for bodybuilding purposes, which prompts the trans guy to ask “What the fuck is wrong with you?” and the protagonist to break down and respond with “I don’t know, man. I don’t know. I’ve always felt like something is wrong with me but I don’t know what.”
