When you have heavy lifting to do so you call your crew...
What to Avoid Packing
Woah! Slow your roll! We know you're excited to get the ball rolling and get things ready for your move! But we've got some things you should probably hold off from packing for your upcoming move. We’re a pretty great company and all! We work hard, and we do our best to guarantee your ultimate satisfaction with our moving and packing services. We’ll move almost anything and we’ll help you pack almost anything. But here are some things that we may not be able to help you with and the reasons why. 1. Lawn mowers/weed hackers: anything that runs on fuel, the gas needs to be drained out so there’s no leaking or possibility of exposed gas during the move.  hank-propane 2. Grill/Barbeque: If it’s a propane tank, most movers cannot transport that tank to your new location. You will need to detach the tank and transport it to your new place. 3. Paints/Varnishes/cleaning solutions: Essentially anything that is highly flammable we will try as much as possible to exclude during packing. 4. Satellite dish/ Major Appliances: Most electronic, electric, or plumbing hookups, due to liability and warranty reasons, a moving company will not unhook or uninstall. We can, however, provide the tools and instruct you through the process if you’d like. Or to ensure everything is done safely you can call a local handyman. Movers will help you move just about anything. Premium Q, in particular, does almost every kind of moving you can think of! But dangerous fumes and gasses are against policy for all professional moving companies. We want to help as much as possible and we’ll help you move almost everything, but transporting these things in tight spaces, should anything happen and should leaking occur, we don’t want you or our movers in harm’s way. We will always try to make sure safety comes first!
A few ideas of how to make your transition to your new neighborhood a little easier!
Task it up!
Assigning tasks to anyone involved in the move before hand is so important! The last thing you want is a crazy frenzy to try and get organized after the movers have already arrived and nothing is packed! Read more about it on our blog!
So your move is coming up and you’ve seen your new place a couple of times so you know what it looks like for the most part.  You’re sitting at home watching TV, but not really paying attention to what’s going on in the show because you’re busy visualizing where you’ll be putting everything in your new home.  Well, we have an idea to help you out a little and also save you time and money with the movers.
MAP IT! That’s right!  Map it! Get out a sheet of paper, draw the basic layout of your new home, and map out where you want your things to go.  We know that not everyone’s an architect. But your map doesn’t have to be to scale, it doesn’t have to be an exact blueprint. It will be useful regardless of how artistic you may or may not be!
Mapping things out helps you better understand the space you are working with and how your things will fit into that space.  Sure, imagination works too, but it really only gets you so far.  Like this, you’ll be able to figure out where you want everything and where it all fits the best.  And when moving day comes, and the movers need to know where to put the couch, or where you wanted that plant table with your Christmas Cactus, You’ll know exactly where to have them place it!  Ultimately, mapping it out can save you tons in many different aspects.
Why Hire Movers!?
1. Saves you stress! You don’t have to worry about not having enough time over the weekend to pack or having to do it all alone!
2. Planning days off and finding the right friends or family to help with the job can be a hassle to organize. Â
3. The risk! It’s so much easier than risking you or friends getting hurt when you realize that dresser is heavier once you get to stairs.Â
Let us handle your move for you! Stress free, risk free! We’ll get the job done, and you can relax and feel great in your new home!

Our Top 10!
So Here's just a quick Top 10 List of what we think are the most important things to do to help prep you for your move!
1. Create a "To-Do" list so you don't forget anything.  2. Sort and get rid of things you no longer want or need. 3. Pack items from the same category all together. 4. Make a map for the new home. 5. Pack carefully. Heavy items in smaller boxes and lighter items in big boxes.    Use padding paper. 6. Label EVERYTHING 7. Keep your moving documents, and other important documents, together. 8. Don't waste time when you use packing tape. paperclip the edge of the tape roll to help you find it. 9. Pack a first night survival kit with things like soaps, shampoos, snacks, and an extra set of clothes. 10.Have fun with it! Moving is stressful enough as it is, try to turn things into games, or have a packing party with friends.  Don't strain yourself too much. The movers will help you with all the heavier, more stressful parts of the move.  So have fun and enjoy your fresh start!
Until next time, Happy Packing!
